Chapter 12: One Year Later

— "Why is Priyanka always looking for a fight?" — Nick wondered.

— "I don't know. Maybe because she is short and smart, so she wants to prove she is also tough." — Olivia assumed and both chuckled.

— "Please tell me you didn't try to go fist to fist with the captain of the football team." — Tom mentioned.

— "I have dignity, Tom." — Priyanka answered.

——— Back to the flashbacks ———

Priyanka went to the football field where she imagined Jason would be at.

— "Hey, Priyanka! What's up?" — he greeted her as if nothing had happened.

— "You're a total jerk, Jason." — she yelled.

— "Woah! Woah! Chill out, dude." — he responded.

— "Don't tell me to chill out. What is wrong with you?" — Priyanka questioned.

— "Wrong with me? I'm not the one who came here yelling, you know." — Jason pointed out.

— "I can't believe you left Olivia because you didn't want to take care of a mess you created." — she expressed.

— "Hold on a second! She did this to herself. I had nothing to do with it." — he stated.

— "Are you kidding me? If you really believe that you are way more stupid than I thought." — Priyanka commented.

— "If you are so smart, why did it take you so long to notice?" — Jason said.

Priyanka wanted to jump at him, but Wyatt held her.

— "Get your hands off me." — she demanded and pushed him.

— "Priyanka, stop this already!" — Olivia exclaimed from behind.

— "You really messed her up badly, Jay." — one of the team members said.

— "Oh, shut up!" — Liv replied annoyed. — "Let's just go." — she suggested to her friend, who nodded and walked away.

They were gonna leave, but Priyanka couldn't hold the temptation.

— "Hey QB, catch!" — she exclaimed and threw a football hardly at Jason, which hit him in the abdomen and he almost fell.

— "What's wrong with you? Are you trying to injure our quarterback?" — another team member complained.

— "I hope he can still play. Oh wait, you suck anyway." — Priyanka noted and left with Olivia.

——— Paused the flashbacks ———

— "You just couldn't hold it, could you?" — Tom teased her.

— "Don't judge me. You almost punch him the first time." — she reminded.

— "Almost is the key word." — he acknowledged and she laughed. — "So that's the horrible thing he did?" — Tom added.

— "Well, is not about what he did, but what he caused. The story is not over." — Priyanka replied and took a deep breath.

(Wednesday, November 8)

Even if Olivia had tore apart the pictures, she was still having a hard time after the break up. She didn't want to eat at all, which was not improving her current state.

— "I'm so unworthy of love. I'm so hideous. I got what I deserved." — Olivia was complaining.

— "What are you saying, Olivia? Just because Jason couldn't appreciate you doesn't mean you don't deserve love. You deserve total happiness and love, girl. You are so beautiful. I can't wait for you to notice it again because you have so much to give and receive." — Priyanka affirmed.
