Alex POV:
I woke up to the sound of crying coming from across the hall.
I got up and knocked on Meredith's door.
"Mer,are you ok?".
She opened the door.
Her face was a mess, her makeup was dripping down her face and her eyes were swollen.
"What happened"? I asked.
"Derek cheated on me".
"What?" I said. "I'm gonna kill him".
She shook her head. "No alex, I don't wanna start up anything".
"Do you want me to stay with you tonight?"
She nodded.
"Alex"? She said.
"Yes mer"?
"Thank you for being there for me"
I pulled her closer to me and kissed her head. I'm your person,that's what I'm here for.
She soon feel asleep with my arms around her, holding her tight.
I looked at her and smiled.
If only I could tell her I love her without ruining anything.
I soon fell asleep.
