Izzie's pov:
I just got on a plane to Seattle. I couldn't believe it. I was going back to Seattle. Back to see my friends. Back to meredith and cristina. Back to alex.
I hadn't told him I was pregnant with his twins. It had been 3 years since I left. How would they react? Would alex be happy? Of course he would. I'm his wife for gods sakes.
I arrived at the hospital. Everything looked the same. I walked in and saw new faces. New interns I thought.
I walked up to the front desk where there was a new face. "Name?". She said. "I'm sorry?" I replied. She sighed.
"Your name ma'am, you're a patient aren't you?". "Oh, no I'm just visiting".
"I still need your name". "Isobel stevens". She wrote my name down on a notepad. "Um is there any chance I could see alex karev?" I asked. "He's in surgery with Dr grey right now". "Oh um where's dr yang?". "Dr yang is no longer a surgeon here". Cristina no longer a surgeon. What the hell. I turned around and saw two faces. Meredith and alex. They both stopped and looked at me. "Izzie?" I smiled at alex and said, "what you didn't at least miss your wife". He looked pissed.
"Ex-wife that is, i sent you fucking divorce papers". "Why are you here anyway, shouldn't you be out in chicago living it up?" I sighed.
"I couldn't find someone to watch the kids until last minute". They both stared at me. "Kids?" Said meredith.
"My kids?" Said alex. I nodded. "Twins actually".

Just to let you guys know, not to be confused with the beginning,
Izzie was pregnant with the twins when she left and when she comes back she left the kids with her mom.
