Tears are only droplets
Hardly worthy of being called
"Puddles"
barely bodies of water at all -
Oh, but I am a writer
so truly,
they are exclusively
Oceans.
Inlets.
Tributaries.
An entire day's preparations
can yield to me this;
best case scenario
Oceans.
Inlets.
Tributaries.
Pain.
Because I am intact
and everything hurts.
