We found trampled papers
and scattered feet
Divorce ravaged her
and her eyes, caked in thick
mud trails,
admitted to that crisis,
which of them had been sick
Calloused friends and
frantic obscenities
from
collapsing brows
to broken ankles
and her signature
had never been so thick
