A/N: Hey update, I tried writing in a different POV and hated it so it will remain in Cassie's POV. The italicized text will be in the writer's POV. Enjoy!
The next morning I woke up early in an attempt to avoid dad. I failed when the sound of my keys jingling woke him.
He sat up from the couch quickly. "Hey-" I cut him off before he could continue.
"Don't dad." I sigh and walk towards the door not looking at him. He rushes in front and blocks me.
"Look, I want to apologize to you for yesterday." He said guiltily.
"For what?" I scoff now looking him in the eye. "For humiliating my boyfriend in front of the entire class and breaking your promise to me?" I snap. He looks down at his feet.
"I am sorry. I will apologize to your...boyfriend. I may have gone a little too far yesterday." He says.
"A little?" I ask rhetorically. "Ok a little more than a little." He smiles slightly. I was still upset with him but was glad he was making an effort to make up for it. I wish he'd do the same for Robby.
"Ok, I gotta get to school. I'll see you at the dojo." I say and walk out the door.
Johnny smiles to himself knowing she's beginning to forgive him.
*lunch at school*
Eli was nowhere to be found. I tried calling and texting him all night, but he didn't answer. I know he probably just needed some space, but I was still worried.
I sit with Eli, Demetri, and Aisha.
"Good you're here!" Miguel says looking excited. I look at him confused.
"I'm planning on asking Sam out." I look at him shocked. Where was this coming from? I look to Aisha who just rolls her eyes.
"Um, that's great Miguel. Good luck." I say supportively. He smiles and goes back to eating.
I just hoped that Sam wasn't showing interest in him because his popularity was on the rise. I decided that I'd deal with that issue if it occurred. For now, I'd give Sam a chance.

School ended and I headed over to the dojo.
I walked in, set my bag down, and started stretching with Miguel and Aisha. "Hey, have you heard from Eli?" Miguel asks. I shake my head and go back to stretching.
Dad walks out and we fall in, facing the mirror. "Three more absences, Sensei." Miguel reports. "Bunch of pussies." Aisha follows. I raise my brows slightly in surprise at her words. She's definitely become more confident since she joined Cobra Kai.
"No, it's my fault." Dad walks in front of me. I give a small smile, noticing what he's doing.
"Since you joined Cobra Kai, I have been hard on you. I've called you names. I've humiliated you. Some of you I've hit. And for that...I don't apologize." I sigh quietly. I know he was trying to turn it into some kind of lesson but is it so hard to just apologize.
"Cobra Kai is about strength. If you're not strong on the inside, you can't be strong on the outside." I guess that does make sense.
"And right now, you're all weak. And I know that because I was you." I look at him confused.
"I used to have no friends. Used to be the weirdo kid. Not that weird. I still hooked up with babes and all." I cringe at the thought of my dad 'hooking up' with 'babes'. This was all news to me. For all, I know dad was pretty popular in high school.
