"Hey grab me a Monster." I say looking over at Aisha. She nods and walks over to the drinks. I walk to the back to grab some slim jims.

I hear a phone chime and I look over to Aisha who groans as her head falls back.

"Dick pic?" "Dick pic?" I turn to see Tory. "Jinx" We both say pointing at each other. We all laugh. "No. My mom wants me to go to the beach club with her."

I look at her as my arms fall to my sides. "What? But we were gonna watch the Avengers marathon."

"Yeah I know and I'm sorry, but she said I have to go." She says irritated. I pout, but let it go. "Do you guys wanna go with me?" She suggests as we walk out.

"I would love to but this is the only time that they're playing the marathon." I say and Aisha nods understanding. "But you guys have fun!" I say before walking off.

I see Hawk leaned up against a pillar and I walk up behind him. "Boo!" I say touching his back. He jumps a bit and I laugh. I see a familiar face on his phone. "Hey, Demetri." I smile.

"Hey, Cassie" He says, clearly upset. I then notice the band-aid on his nose. "What happened to you?" I ask but Hawk turns his back to me blocking my view of Demetri.

"Don't do anything stupid or you'll regret it." I hear him whisper before putting his phone in his pocket and turning back to me. I look up at him confused.

"What was that all about?" I ask. "It's nothing. He was being a pussy." He spits, shaking his head. I look at him shocked. "Don't say that! He's your best friend." I remind him. "Whatever." He scoffs and looks behind me.

"What happened?" Someone says from behind me. I turn around to see Miguel. "Demetri couldn't handle training with Mr. Kreese." Hawk says a little too casually before walking off. I look back and see Miguel going back into the dojo.

I follow after Hawk. "Hey!" I shout to get his attention. He stops and turns around.

"Why are you being such an ass to Demetri?" I ask him. He scoffs. "He's not Cobra Kai material. He's just a nerd." I shake my head at him. "Neither were you when you first walked into the dojo."

His smirk disappears and he looks away, clearly having his ego bruise caused him to lose the ability to speak.

I sigh. "Just remember who was there for you before all this." I gesture to his hair and the dojo. I go to walk away. He grabs my wrist and pulls me back. "Wait, Cass." I turn to face him.

"I'm sorry." He says looking down at my hand, caressing over it with his thumb.

I smile at his genuine apology and put my hand on his shoulder. "It's fine. But I'm not the one you should be apologizing to." I give him a knowing look and he sighs. "Yeah, I know."

I smile but before I can walk away again he speaks. "I overheard you saying that you had no one to watch a marathon with-" He scratches the back of his neck. "I could watch with you if it's ok."

I hesitate to answer knowing that he was still with Moon and I was still with Miguel, but it was just watching movies. "Yeah, sure. Do you want me to pick you up?" I ask. He shakes his head and points to the end of the parking lot.

I look over his shoulder and see a black Sentra with a single blue racing stripe down the middle. I scoff amused. "Nice ride." I say still looking at the car.

He smiles proudly and I chuckle. "Ok then, see you tonight." I say walking to my car.

I finished showering and walked into my room to get changed. I push open the door and my eyes widen when I see Hawk laying on my bed on his phone.
