The next morning I woke up feeling refreshed. That was the first decent night's sleep that I've gotten in the past few days. I roll off the bed and fall to the floor. I scoot myself into a sit-up position with my feet under my bed. I do 50 sit-ups and 50 push-ups before jumping in the shower.
I step out of the shower and walk in front of the mirror. I turn from one side to another. My stomach has become more toned, my hips were a little wider and my butt had grown a bit. I guess it's from all the training.
After checking myself out I walk into my room to get dressed. I put on a white "FRIENDS" shirt and a pair of jeans.

I put a bagel in my mouth and throw my bag over my shoulder. I walk out the door behind dad. I turn to lock the door. When I turn around I see Dad and Miguel walking 'cool' while putting on some shades. They met in the middle and did a fist bump. I roll my eyes and walk to Dad's car. He had gotten a challenger that Mr. LaRusso gave to him as an apology for his cousin wreaking his firebird.
He just got it customized. It was black with yellow stripes. He changed his license plate to "COBRAKAI" and added a sick black snake frame. He went a little extra by adding a silver cobra gear shift.
I hop in the back seat and take a bite of my bagel as I pulled out my phone. I scrolled through Instagram till we came to a stop. I thought we were at school so I looked up. We were just at a stop sign.
I was just about to go back to scrolling when a black convertible pulled up next to us. A brunette girl and her mom looked over at Dad and Miguel, lifting their glasses.
I see Miguel smile at them through the side mirror. I glare daggers into the back of his head.
"Don't look" Dad said chuckling. Miguel's head whipped around to look at him. Dad motioned his head back to me. Miguel turned to look at me and I keep my face expressionless while tilting my head to the side a bit.
He opens his mouth to say something, but retreats back into his seat, keeping his eyes on the road.
Dad pulls in front of the school. Miguel leans the chair forward to let me out. He offers his hand, but I step out on my own and walk past him. People who were admiring dad's car watched me as I walked past them.
I made it to my locker and pulled on the latch. It wouldn't open. I pulled again before sighing in frustration.
An arm reaches over my shoulder and pulls it open with ease. I recognize who it was and don't turn around. I pull my bag off my shoulders and hang it in my locker after taking out the books I needed for class.
I slam it shut and walk off. "Cassie come on. Please stop being mad at me." Miguel rushed in front of me and was now walking backward. I honestly wasn't even mad. I just wanted to mess with him.
"Why? So you can go back to browsing?" I asked staying in character. "No, I swear to you I only want you." My heart fluttered, but I kept my face straight. "Yeah, right" I scoff. He sighs frustrated and grabs my arm.
