SEGMENT 9 : HAPPY BIRTHDAY TWILIGHT

*Twilight's POV*

I jumped on a rock and told everypony to move to the side, I started creating a weak portal to canterlot that will only last a few minutes, I signalled everypony to go in before my magic faded

They all go in and my friends follow, flash and me had 5 more seconds to hop in and we did my magic was so weak from keeping the portal open I almost fainted, luckily Flash caught me in his hooves

I remembered we were in canterlot and we cannot be spotted, we all boarded the train back to ponyville and I kept him discreet, who knows maybe the crystal guards boarded the train or worse my brother

We arrived at ponyville and walked back to the castle as my friends said goodbye while me and flash opened the doors, only there was something wrong

'SHINING ARMOUR?!' I screamed and almost toppled over, flash froze

'where have you been? I was worried sick I thought our cruise vacation was cancelled' shining said to me in a worried expression

'what?' I was puzzled, did I sent out a invitation to the crystal empire, 'the vacation we planned to get off schedule we've been waiting here for hours twily how could you forget' he said in a sad tone

'i'm sorry B.B.B.F.F just got alot of errands to run around Equestria, friendship problems hehehe' I looked at my brother hoping he'd believe me and he just nodded signalled us to come inside

'well since you didn't show up for our cruise adventure let's make our own cruise!' he said and opens the door to reveal mom and dad on a cardboard ship with cadence and flurry, they held a sign that said 'happy birthday twily!' With all my friends at the back with tons of presents!

I felt tears running down my cheeks as I hugged my brother, 'are you crying twily?' he said with a smile and hugged me back, 'no silly, liquid pride remember' I said and laughed

'anyways flash, you can take the day off I'll be here to look after twily' I immediately pulled off the hug as I watched Flash leave, I could feel the sadness in him

'no Flash you can stay, besides your part of the family now since your my personal guard' I looked at him and he looked happy, but still sad and I knew why

My brother just looked at me and sighed, 'if that's what you want, then let's PARTAYYYY the cake isn't gonna cut itself you know?' my brother grabbed me as flash sat down the corner chatting with cadence as I went on to cut the cake

After the party my mom and dad went home, I cleaned up and Flash helped me cadence, flurry and shining was already at their room so I started a conversation with my coltfriend he looked upset

'hey is everything ok?'  I asked him, he seemed to just back off further from me and sweeped the other side of the room

'yeah, I'm fine I guess' he replied with a sad tone of voice, I could definitely tell he was upset I didn't introduce him to my family that he was my coltfriend

'look flash i'm sorry but my brother cant know' I reasoned and went to his side, 'i understand' he replied, I couldn't take it he had to spend time with me before my birthday ends

'come with me' I pulled him and he started walking, I led him to the garden filled with crystal flowers and a spot where the view of the moon is perfect

'happy birthday twilight' he said and handed me a small box, I opened it to see earrings with diamonds on it.

'this is amazing flash, I love it! this is my best birthday yet' I said and hugged him tight, he just replied with a kiss on my cheek

'i love you flash' I said and looked into his eyes, 'i love you too my princess' he said and placed his soft velvet lips on mine and wrapped his wing on my body, he's everything I dreamed of, my one true love.
