I flew off to tell flash sentry but he wasn't in his room, all his things were gone? Was he kidnapped? Or did he leave? Did my brother get to him? Oh no what do I do what do I do, then I saw a note from him on his bed

I have received a letter from the captain saying I was needed for war, the crystal empire has now been declared on lockdown due to a changeling sighting near by, I wish you the best of luck I already left starlight glimmer to protect you while I'm gone, be safe honey I love you incase I never make it...

I saw twilight lying on the ground so I picked her up, and a small envelope fell from her wing, being the curious pony I was I read it and was shocked to bones, he said he just needed to get some things from the empire and come back, I never knew there was a changeling? And sunburst didn't tell me about it, I grew suspicious but first completed a healing spell on twilight

When she woke up i didn't tell her about my suspicions, maybe flash was really gonna attend a war and sunburst was part of it and I didn't want to stress the princess more

'lets go to the crystal empire now, we may be needed there starlight' I just sighed and agreed so I can finally know what was going on
