SEGMENT 17 : TOGETHER AGAIN

*Twilight's POV*

I was up so late at night that I had my friends fill up for me in my lessons and starlight becoming headmare for the day, I couldn't sleep because the kaboom I heard on the other side of the room, it was light with his experiments all over the place and I had to clean it as he dozed off to bed

He would do this everyday and I would start to get annoyed, after a few days we broke up, I wasn't as hurt as usual and our break up didn't go on the news I just said me and light didn't have the spark in our relationship

I started writing down a letter to the princess' and imagine their reaction with another break up, guess I'll have to plan my future with starswirl's diary

I met up with my friends and suddenly we got a friendship mission in the crystal empire, I was puzzled since I didn't know how ponies would have a quarrel since the empire was filled with light and joy

We just took the train there and arrived couple of days later, we immediately go to princess cadence and my brother as they let us all in

'shining armour and the guards had a fight and now they won't guard the castle anymore, leaving us no choice but to guard the castle ourselves and flurry heart getting more attention and i am afraid we cannot multi task' she looked at me with worried eyes as I took a glance at my brother

'it started yesterday when we argued about Flash's promotion and now that he's resigned they want to be your personal guard, and i don't know any way but to get him back on duty' he said and sighed

I only had to do one thing, but it'll take us a longggg period, i slapped my forehead and sighed going out the castle

We went on the train to Scarlet Valleys as I saw the town was completely deserted I almost lost hope when I saw a pony come out the door, it was Flash!

I run up to him and hugged him tight, I missed him so much I could just kiss him on the spot but I couldn't cause my friends will glare at me

'whoa, I take that as "I miss you" your highness' he said as I giggled with the formality, 'just call me twilight again just messing with you that day we met again' I said and blushed seems like my feelings for him did come back, I didn't do all the talking and let the others discuss it to him and we immediately board the train, again for another 4 days oh come on

I sat at my usual seat and flash took the seat next to me, I felt his warm body next to mine and I decided to ask him a question 'what were you doing there all alone?' I asked him

'I didn't want to abandon the village I created so I just stayed there while the other ponies left, plus i didn't know where to stay' he said and let out a sigh

I feel sorry for him and this time I wrapped my wing around his body 'something tells me you'll be staying at the crystal empire once again!'

He just laughed and rested his head on the right side of the cabin avoiding my shoulder, I just rolled my eyes and placed his head on my shoulders and let him sleep peacefully, soon enough I dozed to dreamland too

*Flash's POV*

I woke up at night time and saw myself wrapped around the princess, I immediately pull off and change seats but she looked uncomfortable and cold without me, so I decided to stay and this time wrapped my wing around her and let her rest on my shoulders, she really looked like a angel when asleep

I woke up in shouting, more like teasing as I saw myself on the lap of the princess I didn't move for a second taking in what were they shouting about and I heard rainbow say 'wow twi that was faster than me! Haha' what was faster than her?

I looked at the window and saw that Celestia hasn't even raised the sun yet, why so early, 'what's the fuss ladies, stallion trying to sleep here' I said as I ascended my head facing them all

The princess giggled but then looked at rainbow with a certain eye, 'what happened last night? Did you get together? I really shipped you from the start all I said about light diamond was nothing compared with the bond of you two' the rainbow maned pegasus said taking in breaths

Twilight just nodded, and what does this mean? She just winked at me and layed my head on her lap saying I should get some rest and found myself dozing off to dreamland once again
