(Ein's POV)

I take Blaze down into the basement where I cuff him to one of the posts. It's now technically the first day on the job and I've already caught a werewolf. Damn, I'm good at this. Blaze sits down on the floor with his wrist still cuffed to the post and somewhat pouts.

"Do you really need to do this?" He asks me.

"Of course I do. Why the hell wouldn't I need to?"

"Because I never did anything to you. You could just let me be on my way."

"Again, like I said before, I'm not giving you privileges for trying to kidnap a child."

"Hmph. That's no fun."

"Yeah, yeah. Well, I gotta go to work. Those cuffs should keep you secured to the post. If you try any funny business while I'm gone, I swear I will literally kill you myself."

"I'd like to see you try, pretty boy."

"Oh, I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard with you cuffed to that post. Nowhere to escape. Now, if you excuse me, I need to go to work."

(Blaze's POV)

The angry blue-haired man grabs his bag and walks out of the house. Kidnap a child? What did he mean by that? I was just saving him from the influence of the humans. If anything, I was helping that kid. Does he really think these handcuffs can keep me in here? I'm a WEREWOLF. I can turn into a wolf for crying out loud. I close my eyes and I can feel everything slightly tingle. God, I hate this part. Suddenly, pain shoots through my body as my bone structure reshapes itself. Once my body is done reshaping itself, I open my eyes.

I'm Now standing on my hind legs, which is extremely uncomfortable. I pull my paw out of the cuff and get down on all fours. Ah, that's better. I look around the basement to try and get familiar with my surroundings, assuming I'm gonna be here a while longer. Huh, this is actually a pretty nice place. He's got a refrigerator down here, which is fairly unusual where I come from. He's also got a couch and a reading nook. You know, I don't think I mind being his prisoner, haha.

I close my eyes once again and go through the same process of transformation. Once I open my eyes again, I'm human. I walk over to the fridge and open it to see what's inside. I'm super hungry and he wouldn't give me a snack. Still kinda upset about that. There are fruits and vegetables in the refrigerator along with a few jugs of water. Probably some sort of survival fridge if there's ever a tornado or something. Smart guy. I grab an apple and close the refrigerator door. I then make my way over to the reading nook, wanting to make myself comfortable during my stay in his basement. You know, before my execution or something. I dunno what this place does with werewolves, but I'm assuming it isn't pretty.

I sit down on one of the chairs and cross my legs, making myself feel more at home. I grab a book from one of the shelves and open it up as I take a bite out of my apple. Huh, this is a pretty interesting one. I wonder if I can speed read it and finish it before Blue gets back. I don't know his name, so I'm just gonna call him Blue. It suits him. He's kind of disrespectful. I told him my name and he didn't even introduce himself. Rude.

Time Skip

It's been a while since Blue left. I'm kinda grateful for that, because I really don't wanna die anytime soon. I like my life and I don't want it taken away. But, if he has work every day, and he doesn't turn me in tomorrow, then I might be able to escape. Suddenly, I hear something upstairs. Shit. I rush over to the cuffs, transform into a wolf, stick my paw through the cuff, and turn back into a human. The door to the basement opens, revealing Blue in his armor with a sword at his side. I will admit, it's very intimidating.

"Ah, good. You're still here. Looks like the cuffs kept you in place."

"Y-Yup.. Sure did." I say, trying to sound convincing enough.

He looks around the room... until he walks over to the reading nook... SHIT! Did I leave something?! He then proceeds to walk over to the fridge. He doesn't seriously count his fruit, right? He then sighs and then turns to me, pinching the bridge of his nose.

"How..."

"How... what?"

"How did you get out of the cuffs?!" He shouts, startling me.

"W-What do you mean?" I ask, trying to sound innocent.

"There were exactly 12 pieces of fruit in this fridge and now there's only eleven! How did you get out?!"

"You count your fruit? Fuckin' psycho."

"ANSWER THE QUESTION, MUTT!" Blue shouts at me. Okay, I'm fucking pissed. NO-ONE calls me a mutt!

"I'm sorry you flat-faced, blue-haired, pint-sized dick-head. But I'm not gonna tell you how I got out. If you don't want me escaping, then don't call me a fucking mutt! Do you know how fucking offensive that is?! I swear I will tear you to shreds if you call me that one more time!"

He shuts up after that and looks down. I'm surprised he didn't put his sword to my throat after cursing him out like that. All he does is walk upstairs and slams the door behind him, locking it once more. Damn, didn't know I was capable of making my own captor feel like shit. I'm kind of impressed with myself. But then again... I kind of feel bad... he's just trying to do his job. I should try and repay him somehow if I can get out of here. That is, if he doesn't turn me in to the King.
