Artemis POV:

I couldn't understand anything. I was watching Percy walk towards his tent, still giggling inwardly when I tried to picture his baby seal face. In a few moments, I heard Percy shout. Something about feeding my hunters to Cereberus. I looked around at them confused, and I noticed most of the senior hunters were smirking. The next thing, I know was that Percy was in the air and he looked angry. My laughter immediately went away to be replaced by fear and concern. What the hell was happening? His aura exploded, pushing me down, compelling me to bow before his power. It suddenly stopped and I let out a sigh of relief. I heard him say that he was sorry before he vanished. I stood there slack-jawed for a few more seconds before I tried to mind message him. I remembered feeling pure rage and power coursing through me before the images started coming. I felt every little emotion of his and saw his memories starting from the day that he came to the hunt. I saw my hunters physically, emotionally and mentally torturing him day after day. I saw all of this and then I was blasted backwards.

I groaned as I got up. I saw all of my hunters looking at me with concern. I glared at them remembering what they did to Percy. I sighed. I'd deal with them later. I looked towards the stars sensing Percy out in space. And then I was partially blinded as the planet we knew as Mars exploded in a supernova. Well... planets can't go supernova so that was Percy. The glow died down only for me to look up and see the rest of Mars that wasn't shredded enter the atmosphere. I gasped. A huge meteor was heading straight for our camp. The hunters were petrified staring at the meteor. I concentrated and sent all my power in a beam at the meteor. It exploded into dust. I turned back to my hunters ready to chew them out for Percy's disappearance when a huge earthquake struck throwing everybody to the ground except for me. I was forced to my knees. I got up and saw a portal opening a kilometer above camp. Hope filled me only to be replaced by fear. Percy fell from the portal.

He crashed to Earth creating a huge crater. I jumped in and looked for him. He was lying there limbs splayed as golden sparks jumped all over his body already starting to heal him. He looked at me before falling into the realm of Morpheus. I gently picked him up and looked at my hunt. "Go to Camp Half-Blood. I will be there shortly as will Perseus. Pray that the gods don't disband the Hunt." I flashed to the council room and blew my hunting horn. Everybody flashed in at the same time. It didn't take a second for Hera, Zeus, Poseidon, Hestia and Hades to gather around Percy. "My son, what happened to you?", Hera sobbed while stroking Percy's head. Silver blood was trickling from his mouth. Zeus, Poseidon and Hestia were giving all their energy healing Percy. Hades constructed a dome of shadows to anchor Percy's soul to his body. Apollo ran over and combined his efforts with Hestia's. A helix started spinning in the middle of the room and Chaos practically flew out from it. Chaos sprinted towards us sliding the last few feet on his knees. He then proceeded to increase everybody's power tenfold using his own powers. Percy coughed twice before opening his eyes looking directly at me. "Hey Arty", he said grinning weakly. I sobbed throwing myself at him. He grunted before snaking his arms around my waist and pulling me closer to him.

He buried his face in my hair nuzzling my neck. I cried in his arms occasionally saying sentences like, "I'm so sorry!" or "I should have stopped them!" His hold tightened around me. I sniffled. It was hard enough losing Zoe and my hunters. My heart would break if anything happened to him. I realised what I was doing and got up. I was mad! No, I was beyond mad. I slapped him. "How dare you do that little stunt! Did you know how worried Thalia and the young ones were? If you died... I..." My voice faltered, the entire gravity of the situation just beginning to sink in. He sighed and gathered me up into his arms. I punched his chest for good measure. It hurt me more than it hurt him. Percy looked around. "What is everybody staring at?" I looked out of the corner of one eye. Everybody had their jaws on the floor except Chaos, Apollo, Aphrodite and Hestia. Aether suddenly appeared. He walked over to Chaos, muttered something that suspiciously sounded like you win, handed over a pouch filled to the brim with drachma and flashed out. Percy glared at Chaos. "You bet on us getting together?" Chaos merely looked smug.

I cleared my throat. "Now if you'll excuse us, I really need to get Percy to the hunters." Having said my piece, I flashed out with Percy in tow. I was about halfway to the camp when I was pulled out of teleportation. I looked at Percy. He sat down. "I can't go back there Arty. Not after what they've done to me." My eyes widened in realisation. "Can't you stay with me?" he asked, his eyes looking at me hopefully. I nodded. He flashed us to England. The same spot where we admitted that we loved each other. He said, "I'll stay here." I smiled and flashed out. Even if Percy didn't want to see the hunt, there were some people that wanted to see him. I flashed in to see Thalia throwing lightning bolts at Atalanta. So she must have beat out the truth. I flashed out with her, not even sparing a glance at my hunter. I flashed Thalia to the beach. Her eyes widened, confused. Then she saw Percy on the edge of the forest and rushed him. The next events happened in slow motion. Thalia rushed Percy happily shouting, "PERCY!" Percy did likewise. In her second shout her happiness was reduced. By a lot. Percy stopped in his tracks. Thalia's next shout was, "PERCY! I'LL KILL YOU IDIOT!" Percy turned and ran. But it was too late (Insert imaginary tear). She tackled him slapping him again and again. Then she reached up and kissed him.

How was it? I've finished the next chapter but I'm gonna hold onto it a bit longer just to see your reaction. I'm out.
