Chapter 8

Okay guys. I'm trying a new typing style. Just so it's easier to tell where a paragraph begins and ends.

"When she told me that she was a descendent of Zeref, I didn't know whether to be happy that she can use magic, or angry that she can use dark magic..."

Sting's POV

I wake up to someone caressing my face. I look sit up and look at Mai. I shift my body and lay on my side and sit up.

"What are you doing?" She has a hand resting under her chin and a smile on her face.

"Nothing. Just admiring what I've got." I place my hand on her waist and pull her body into mine. She laughs as I roll over, pulling her on top of me. I grab her face and pull it down. Her lips land on mine and I swear sparks fly. This feeling is something I've never felt before.

Then, there was a knock on the door. "I'll get it!" She yells as she jumps out of bed and runs to the door. She's only in one of my shirts and her underwear. Luckily, the shirt goes down to her thighs.

"Sting! Get out here!!" She yells. I groan as I flip back the covers and walk out of the room. At the door stands Rogue and Liv.

"Hey guys." I yawn.

"Good morning Sting." Liv responds.

"So, what brings you guys here?"

"Well, we're going out today and thought you guys should join us."

"That would be awesome!! Where to?" Mai asks.

"I don't know. Just around town. Go out to eat."

"Yes. We'll join!" She says.

"Wait what?" I ask. She looks up at me with puppy eyes. "Fine." I sigh in defeat. Mai cheers and claps her hands.

"Let us get ready and then we can go." she grabs my hand and pulls me back into the room. "Are you going to shower?"

"Minus well." I sigh.

"Okay. I'll be quick." She skips, literally, into the bathroom and shuts the door. I hear the water turn on and her humming. I let out a chuckle as I exit the room to get a drink of water.

As I'm putting my now empty glass in the dish washer, the shower turns off.

"Sting!!! Get in here and shower!" Mai yells.

"You heard the women. Get going!" Liv laughs. She and Rogue are sitting on the couch, patiently waiting for us.

"I'm coming." I walk back into the room and standing there is an angry Mai. She only has on a towel. I smirk as I walk up to her. "Well, having you like this won't make me go any faster." I smirk. 

She puts a hand on my chest. "Stop it Sting. Go shower. We need to get ready." She walks away, disappearing back into the bathroom. I follow her in. Still wrapped in her towel, she's brushing her teeth. 

I turn on the shower, and begin to strip from my clothing, which consisted of just underwear. I look back at Mai to see if she's paying attention, but she's not. I sigh and get in the shower.

Mai's POV

Sting is finally in the shower. He always takes forever to get going. 

i stand in front of the mirror, applying my make-up. I stroke the mascara brush over my eyelashes, darkening them. Next, I brush through my wet hair before blow drying it. After it's dry, I pull it up into a pony, securing it with a scrunchy. Liv always uses them, and got me into using them by buying me a pack of them.

I walk back into the bedroom to get dressed. I can hear Liv and Rogue talking, along with Lector and Frosch. Frosch is so cute, all dressed up in his purple frog costume. I tried getting Lector to wear one, but he wouldn't even put it on. Anyways, I pull out a black maxi skirt and a purple tanktop, along with some sandals.

As I'm putting on my sandals, Sting walks out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist, brushing his teeth. Gosh, he takes forever.

"Hurry up Sting!" I whine. He just groans as he grabs his clothes and exits into the bathroom again. After a few minutes, he comes back out, ready to leave. I grab my small purse and walk out to the living room, where Liv and Rogue are waiting with the exceeds. 

We all leave the apartment, locking the door behind us. Liv is carrying Frosch as we walk down the streets. I wanted to carry Lector, but he wouldn't let me. He wanted to be back with Sting and Rogue as they talk about who knows what. 

Soon enough, we reach a small cafe. I have a feeling that today is going to be eventful.
