Chapter 4

"She looked so beautiful. I couldn't get her out of my mind."

We stand in a corner for the rest of the night, talking and getting to know each other. I learned that her name is Mai. She's 16, I'm 17(Sting is 19 right now, as well in the show), and sadly, she's engaged. My mood enlighten when she told me she didn't want to marry him.
I lead her out to her carriage.
"When can I see you again?" I ask.
"I don't know. I'm rarely able to leave the house without my fiancé." she frowns.
"How about you sneak out and meet me and my brother in town?"
"Yeah! I have a friend who's good at sneaking out!"
"Good. So, tomorrow?"
"Definitely." She smiles as I shut the carriage door and off she went.

Mai's POV

Once he shuts the door and we set off, I can't help but squeal and giggle in delight.
"Is everything alright m'lady?" The chauffeur asks.
"It's better than alright Louis! It's fantastic!"
"Is it a boy?" He says with a small laugh.
"Yes. He's so wonderful!" I blush.
"Well, tell me more. I'd love to hear about the person who's captured m'lady's heart." he smiles. I turn around and open the curtains, sticking my head out as I'm on my knees.
"He has blonde hair and blue eyes. Oh! And he's a wizard!"
"Ah, so that's why you're so interested in him."
"Yes, but no. He's so nice and cute. His laugh is like music to my ears. His smile is as white as fresh snow." I keep gawking about him and Louis just sat there and listened.
"He's sounds wonderful. What magic does he use?"
"He's a dragon slayer!"
Louis' smile falls.
"M'lady, are you sure you want to be with him? I mean, dragon slayers are know for their destructive powers."
"Yes Louis. I'm sure." His smile is soon back on his face.
"Alright then."
By the time I'm done fangirling over Sting, we arrive at the manner. I groan when I see Shinji standing there.
He opens the door and offers his hand, which I ignore and climb out on my own.
"Aw don't be like that." he runs to catch up to me.
"Too damn bad. Go away."
"No."
"Leave me alone." I open the front door and quickly shut it in his face and rush upstairs to my room.
Once up there, I buzz for Olivia to come up and help me out of this dress. She opens the door and walks in, closing it behind her.
"So, how was it? I heard from Louis that you met someone."
"Oh my gawd Liv, he's amazing!" She laughs as she walks up to me.
"Alright. Turn around so I can get this thing off you." she laughs.
As she helps me out of this death machine, I tell her all about Sting.
"Oh! And he has a twin. I saw him there as well, and he's pretty cute!"
"So you're debating between them?" She laughs.
"No! But I'm meeting them tomorrow in town."
"Okay but how are you planning on getting out of here without Shinji noticing?"
"That's where you come in." an evil smirk crawls up on her face.
"Oh, I like the sound of that."
"So I'll leave the planning to you then."
"Good. What time are we leaving?"
"Like noon."
"Okay. I'll be back here in your room at 11 o'clock sharp tomorrow morning."
"Okay. I'll see you then. Goodnight Liv."
"Goodnight." she leaves and shuts the door. To make sure Shinji doesn't come in, I lock the door and shove a chair under the handle.
"I need a bath." I walk to the bathroom and start the bath. I get in and lay there for awhile before getting out.
Once out, I dry off, brush my teeth and get into my pjs and crawl into bed.
