Chapter 9

We arrive at the café and enter. When we're seated down, we're told that today is karaoke day. Lovely.

"Oo Mai! Lets sing!" Liv says as she grabs my arm and tugs on it.

"Okay!" I laugh. The boys sit down as we go to the stage and wait our turn. These two girls in front of us are terrible.

"What should we sing?" Liv asks.

"I don'k know."

Before we know it. it's Liv's turn. She asks me to play the piano for her. Since she's my best friend, I agree. We get up there and i sit down at the piano. I start playing and Liv starts singing.

Before I know it, it's already done. I already know she sang it for Rogue. Now what song should I sing? I got it!

I tell Liv and she agrees. She starts playing. Sting looks up at me and I wink at him. He starts laughing.

Sting leans forward in his chair. We hold eye contact as I continue.

I notice those two sucky bitches walking over to the boys. They pay no attention to them. But they keep trying to get their attention.

They're starting to piss me off. I need to quickly finish. I watch as one climbs on to Sting's lap. That's when he takes his eyes off me. That's it.

Mm" Liv and I quickly finish. I jump off the stage, not taking the stairs. I march right up to them and pull her off.

"What the hell?" she screams and turns around swinging. She ends up slapping me. She stares at me and smirks. I do what I've been wanting to do. I slap her.

"Back the fuck up! This wizard right here is mine. Got it?" she stares at me in fright as she nods the runs away. I can't handle anything right now. I walk right outside and start heading home.

"Mai wait!" Sting calls out.

"I'm sorry but I need space." I say.

"It's fine. But that was great!" he laughs. I let out a small laugh.

"I'm sorry for ruining our day out, but can we go home?"

"Yes, lets go home." he wraps his arm around my shoulders and we walk home, with Lector tagging along beside Sting.

"That day was one of the most memorable days I have with her."

"She sounds badass!"

"Natsu shut up!" *Whack*
