"Come on, Scott. We don't know what happened and if you really hurt that guy you have to remember. Derek can help."
"I know, E, I know. But he's just SO annoying." He complained as we rounded some trees and the Hale house came into view.
"Yeah, believe me I know. But he can help. He knows more about this stuff than I do. Even as a born werewolf I don't know too much about my own kind." I explained, putting a comforting hand on his shoulder. Scott nodded, taking a deep breath and stepping a couple of feet ahead of me before speaking up.
"I know you can hear me. I need your help," he said quietly, letting out a deep breath after he spoke.
I tuned into the noises in the house, soon hearing the descending footsteps of Derek walking down the stairs. I walked forward, Scott walking close behind me.
We made our way to the porch, the front door opening slowly with an eerie creaking. I rolled my eyes at the horror-esk moment. Derek walked out the front door, his leather jacket shining in the afternoon sun.
"Okay. I know I was part of getting you arrested and that me and Stiles basically announced you being here to the hunters. I also don't know what happened to your sister, but I think I did something last night. I had a dream about... someone. But someone else got hurt and it turns out that that part of the dream might have actually happened." Scott preached, his voice full of sorrow.
"You think you attacked that driver?" Derek asked, causing me to raise a brow. We hadn't told him about the driver at all yet so I was impressed that in only a couple of hours he got the information.
"Did you see what I did last night?" Scott accused, raising his voice slightly.
"No," Derek said calmly in response, shoving his hands in the pockets of his jacket, looking at Scott with a pair of raised eyebrows.
"Can you at least tell me the truth? Am I gonna hurt, someone?" Scott asked, his voice full of worry.
"Yes," Derek said simply, causing me to scoff. He was right but he didn't have to be so blunt.
"Could I kill someone?"
"Yes." Again, he was right.
"Am I gonna kill someone?" Scott asked, his voice growing louder with his rising fear. His biggest concern was hurting someone, anyone at all.
"Probably." Right again.
I sighed and ran a hand through my hair as I leaned against one of the pilers on the porch, crossing my arms. "Can you give us some good news? Or we just gonna be down on the dumps about all of this?"
