Bisky's POV (day 2 of training camp)
"Excuse me?! I am his teacher, you will not keep me in the dark about my student's condition!" Bisky yelled, closing the door to block the doctor's exit.
The doctor merely sighed, "Fine, you want to know what's going on? I'll tell you. His left arm is healing at an volant rate, but it's healing too fast. By the time we realized that it was already stitching itself back together, we still had to re-center the bone. Which, at that point in his recovery, was toilsome for us and agonizing for him - even in coma.
"We were able to center his back, however, we plan to do surgery. His bones are mending, but not in the correct way. Should we let his spine keep healing on its own, it's definite that he'll never walk again"
Bisky furrowed her brow and looked at the floor, 'it's really that bad'
"What about Recovery Girl?" Bisky met the doctor's eyes; hoping for anything that could work.
"He's in coma. If Recovery Girl used any of his energy, he'd surely die," the doctor held a shameful face, clearly they had already thought of that, "ma'am, we're doing all we can. There's only so much I can do, there are other patients here with in even more dire need of surgery and whatnot. I feel for you, truly, I do, my son is one of the people on stand by for a transplant. He's not top priority. He won't get that transplant until he gets sicker. Gon's condition isn't life threatening, that puts him lower on the standby list. If I could bring to an operating table right now, I would. But I can't. Please, trust me when I say I'm doing everything I can to get him what he needs"
Bisky nodded, understanding of their situation. She stepped aside, allowing the doctor to leave the room.
****I help you (ノ・∀・)ノ**** --thank you ( ' ▽ ' )ノ--
(day three of training camp - 8 a.m.)
Bisky was just entering the hospital - since visitor hours start at eight - when the person at the front desk refused to let her see Gon.
She resisted the urge to say 'b- *censored with the help of maaaagic °˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧˖°*, what?' and 'calmly' asked, "Why would that be?"
"He's getting surgery today, he won't be allowed to get any visitors until late today" the human (don't want to assume gender) at the front desk replied.
Bisky took this news surprisingly well. She basically skipped her way back to the tent.
****7 p.m.----
Bisky returned, since visiting hours ended at 8 p.m., she hoped Gon would be ok for visitors.
She was granted access to Gon's room - as usual. This time, Gon was awake. A little loopy, but awake.
"Hey! Bisky!" he exclaimed.
"Gon you little--" Bisky decided against scolding, she can do all the scolding she wants when he's up and about (and when it's legal to beat him up) --"how are you feeling?"
"Greeeaaaattttt, they put this mask on me and it's smelled like strawberries! It was the best strawberries I've ever smelt, you should try it sometime" Gon replied, they must've given him 'laughing gas'.
Bisky decided to humor him, "Mhm, maybe I can ask later. Um, how would you rate your pain?" she wanted to know how he was feeling, so she went all 'kid doctor mode'
"0 stars"
Bisky blinked once, twice before Gon continued, "Would not recommend" he slurred.
She laughed a little, enjoying Gon's loopy antics.
"Where's Killua?" he asked while staring at a pen like it was the first pen he'd seen in his life.
