Internships-day 3(part 2)

Gon's POV (here we go)

"Don't let any blood out of your body! He'll freeze you if he gets even a drop!" Midoriya yelled.

"What do you mean he'll 'freeze' us?!" Gon said, turning around to Midoriya.

Next thing Gon knows, Killua is right in front of him and a sword-type-thingy is kicked to side.

"Killua!" Gon yells out in surprise, now taking in the sparks of electricity surrounding his friend.

 Killua looked back, "Six and I worked on this concept, but I couldn't fully figure it out until I saw broccoli over there"

A wall of blazing fire passed by the two of them.

"Watch yourselves! Don't celebrate until the battle's done" Todoroki called out to the two (love birds) friends.

"Ok!" Gon called back and raced forward, unleashing a round of merciless punches. 

Killua was quick to follow - literally - and the four were starting to get a grip on working together. They weren't as flawless as Gon and Killua, but they were close enough. 

Gon turned back for a split second to see Iida getting up. Then an idea came to him.

"Guys, cover me!" Gon yelled. 

First he went to Todoroki and told him the plan with Killua and Gon covering for him. Then he went to the - now standing- Iida. Killua and Todoroki covered as Gon told Midoriya. And, lastly, Gon just had to lock eyes with Killua for him (Killua) to know the plan.

Let's get this show on the road. 

"Now!" Gon yelled.

Then came a chain (Kurapika?) reaction. 

Todoroki cornered Stain with ice, Stain had to jump up. And that's where Killua, Gon, Iida, and Midoriya come in. The four came from all directions (Naruto?), Stain had no escape in the air. 

I won't go into much detail, because Stain was in an ugly position. Just know, Stain

(NEEDS SOME MILK-)

What? No.

(I had perfect timing, and you can't tell me otherwise)

Of course 'you can't tell me otherwise', we're the same person.

(Left and right brain, my guy)

I'm- we're a girl

(shut up)

Never. Anyways, Stain was pretty beat up. 

(to a pulp?)

Will you (me) shut up!

(Let me see... nope)

*sigh* this is what I've come to...

Moving forward, the next thing Gon knows... he's world turns black as night.

----ooOoOOoOOoooO what happened to Gon?----

Gon shot up, his eyes darting around the room. His eyes finally landed on a clock that read '10:48'. (I was so tempted to put 11037, but that's to many numbers for the time :,) )

He looks down to see Killua sleeping in a chair, he appears to be unharmed. 

"Killua... Killua..." Gon whispers, only wanting to wake up Killua and the whole... hospital?

Killua does not wake up.

"Killua!" Gon whisper shouts, and that does the trick.

"What- oh, Gon, you're up" Killua comes to.

"Yeah... why am I in a hospital?"

"Do you not remember?"

"No..."

"When Stain was being taken into custody, he used some bloodlust thingy. It's much like nen, but there was another crisis going on. Do you remember the 'nomu' from the USJ?"

Gon nodded.

"The are others like it, a pterodactyl one swooped in from behind and you didn't hear it. Stain also took the chance to take a swing at me. You - you baka - got in the way and ended up getting cut yourself. With the blood lost and probable concession, you passed out" Killua summed up.

"So he wasn't caught?"

"Nope. Maybe next time they'll get him. There's more you have to be caught up on, but you need rest"

"No I don't! I'm fine!" Gon tried get up, but ended up falling back onto the hospital bed due to the pain.

"Baka! Didn't I just tell you were cut! Take it easy and go to sleep!"

"...fine"

With that the two of them drifted off to land of dreams...

Hello! Happy Thanksgiving! If you celebrate it.

Ok, so, I have a bittttt of news. It's- it's nothing really. Just- uh- before I continue, promise to not kill me!

Did you promise?

I'm going to act like you did. 

So, um, I have lost almost all of my motivation to continue. 

And I have read enough fan fics to know where this normally leads. I won't abandon this for 5 years!

I will be continuing this story, but I will be taking a break. Lately it's been feeling like a chore, like I have to update because so many people are waiting on a new chapter. 

Don't get me wrong, I love to write for you all! But writing is my hobby, and if it starts to feel like a chore, then I'm going to step back. I feel like the quality of my chapters are also reflecting my lack of motivation. 

I don't want this to be chore, I want it to be fun to write and fun for you to read. 

Long story short, the story will be on hold until 2021. 

I shall keep to my word. To show this; I swear of the river of Styx I shall be back in January of 2021! It is done, there no turning back (unless I wish more bad things upon myself).

In all seriousness, I just need time to collect my motivation, and put together where I want this story to go. So, I'll be back with new chapters in January of 2021. I'll stay in the comments tho, so see you there.

If I don't get a chance to tell you at the time, have a merry Christmas, Hanukkah, or whatever you celebrate.
