"Aye, what's wrong witchoo." Smoke said for the umpteenth time.
"Nothing." I said sighing and rolling my eyes.
We were in the kitchen, I was washing the few dishes that I had used to fix him and I some breakfast. Daisy had just left and was mad. We had just had our first argument. It was over the fact that I "didn't" want to go anywhere but she says it's Smoke keeping me in the house with Teddy again.
He was standing near the refrigerator, drinking some orange juice off and on watching me all crazy steady saying that I have an attitude.
"..look I was tryna see if yall wanted to ride wit me to get some of this stuff from the house before the movers come." He said.
"...yeah." I said. Because it would've been better than being here all day.
"Cool." He said walking off into the living room.
So I got Teddy and myself ready and we locked up Daisy's house and headed toward K's.
The ride was quiet and Smoke would look over at me from time to time. It was like he was trying to read me???
He asked.
"You straight comin' back hea?"
"...yea why wouldn't I." I said looking at him with wondering eyes.
"...just sayin'." He said licking his lips.
We finally made it after a while and Tez was parked in the driveway, him and Kane standing outside of the car waiting.
"What's up." Smoke said as we approached them,
They shook hands as they usually did.
"Preciate y'all boys for doin' nat." Smoke said to them.
"No problem foo you know we on the haunt." Kane said as they both went to bragging about whatever it was that had been done.
Smoke signaled for me to take Teddy in the house into the living room and wait while they did what they did.
Once Teddy had eaten and was down for a nap I started to help out. Smoke wanted me to pack majority of our stuff while he pack his moms.
He came into the room while I was filling the suitcases on the bed.
I was leaning over. He didn't say anything I just felt him watching me.
"You ready?" He finally said.
"Yes." I said. "You got all of these shoes." I said struggling to zip one of the suitcases.
He came over to help pressing down on it with one hand zipping it with the other .
"Thanks." I said blushing, trying to start up a flirt session. He was acting different usually he'd be all on me.
"Stop playin'." He did a fake smile.
I frowned.
"Wusswrong." He said not really giving me eye contact being that I was kinda all up in his grill.
"No what's wrong with you?" I said rolling my eyes. Smoke had never seen my attitude even when he thought it was attitude.
I folded my arms
"Fuck you mean." He said taking his gun out his pants but sitting it on the stand. It must've been heavy because it was big and I could tell it was what was having his pants sag harder on one side showing his fancy boxer briefs.
"You acting all different wit me." I said feeling tearyeyed.
He sighed,
"My bad. C'mere." He said pulling me into a hug followed by a kiss.
"I'm just, stressing bout my ole lady." He said still holding me.
"I understand, that's all that matters. Just please be careful." I told him. This time there was eye contact.
We started to kiss again and I unknowingly started to get into it by running my hands up his shirt rubbing his chest. His hands roamed my body and then he stopped, pulling out of the kiss.
"What's wrong?" I immediately asked. Because things were about to get heated and I just know he wasn't bout to pull the shit again from last time.
"You scared to fuck me or something?" I asked him again but straight up!!
He sucked his teeth..
"You buggin'." He said trying to brush me off.
"No seriously Smoke. Is it the reason ?" I asked him looking straight into his eyes making sure he could return the attention.
"Wtf that gotta do wit anythang." He said.
My feelings was hurt. Like him even talking to me that way Idk why but they were.
"These folks waitin' so get Teddy I got everything else." He said walking out of the room. I did as told and then we left.
He dropped us back at Daisy and then came back and got Teddy saying that she was going to stay with her mom for a few days.
I wasn't happy, but I knew I could be on the streets with Smoke even though I was so hurt and mad right now about earlier that I really didn't care to see his ass no time soon.
I still hadn't heard from Monty and I was bored just watching my phone. Daisy hadn't come home and of course Smoke was out.
But after a while, Smoke text and told me to open the door for him.
I did, and he walked in dressed in all black with a black beanie on top of his head.
He went into the bathroom downstairs and then came out and sat on the couch next to me.
"You okay?" I asked him.
"..yeah I'm straight." He said resting back.
I turned my attention to the tv and it was quiet.
So I just started thinking like let me keep quiet he had already said how he was worried about his mom and I definitely didn't want to disturb that.
