It was like 3am and I was up anxious to hear from Smoke or somebody since he didn't allow us to come (me and Teddy)

We were at Daisy's and everyone was asleep but me.

10 minutes later my phone rang..

It was Smoke

I answered immediately asking how was she.

"She good." He said.

"Thank god." I said sighing heavy I was still crying.

"What happen." He asked me.

"They must have came in with K, and I don't know if she was already shot or what because I didn't hear anything." I said crying.

"I was sleep, and I heard the alarm saying someone was entering through the kitchen, I thought it was k but then a man in a mask came into the room demanding I tell him where the money was, another guy with a mask came but they left and I picked up the gun and shot through the wall after them and I had sworn I shot one of them ." I said.

Smoke sighed.

"It's alright I'mma figure this shit out." He said.

The house had cameras so I knew that that was the first thing that he would resort to.

"It's crazy cause, nobody knows about my mom house, not even my two potnas." He said speaking on Tez and Kane.

"I'm so scared." I said.

He was quiet, and that was probably the last thing he wanted to hear me say especially since I always claim to wanna be down.

"It's cool, just  call me when Teddy wakes up." He said.

"OKay." I said before ending the call.

I laid back on the sofa looking at the ceiling.

I checked my phone, seeing if Monty had text after I finally had replied to him earlier in the night. He hadn't.

"You good girl?" I heard Daisy say. She was coming out of the kitchen with a bottle of water.

"Yeah, I'm Aite." I lied.

"..girl no you ain't." She said sitting down beside me.

"I just hate that something like this happen, and Smoke is sooo upset. I should've gotten up to make sure it was K coming in." I said shaking my head.

"Well, honestly, I'm glad it did happen the way it did because they could've hurt or killed you both." She said.

"Yea, and he's so on the fact that nobody knows his moms address so who could've done it." I said.

"if you ask me somebody's been watching." Day said.

I nodded in agreement.

"It'll be alright at least she's alive and I show hate it for whoever it was because Smoke don't play about his family. Especially his mom and daughter." She said. "But aye, you gotta toughen up, ain't no use in sitting here crying, get you some rest." She went on.

I wiped my eyes. "Yea, I guess you're right." I said.

"You wanna hit it?" She asked pulling a blunt from her ashtray that was stashed underneath the couch.

"Yeah, I guess so." I said not really interested but I just needed some peace of mind.

It was around 5am when I finally decided I could try and get a nap in. I was waiting for Smoke to call or come but I figured he wasn't gonna do neither any time soon. Daisy had a three bedroom but I just wanted to crash on the couch.

I felt the couch move and it was Smoke laying behind me.

"My bad." He said being that I was startled a little bit.

"Why you ain't upstairs with Teddy?" He asked me.

"I just wanted to wait on you, make sure you're straight." I told him.

He reached down and kissed me.

"I'm good." He said.

I nodded.

From the camera perspective, my mom was already shot. They used her key to get in and then ramshacked the house. Arely was in the bed and she shot back once they ran out of the room .

It wasn't really helpful but imma get down to the bottom of it.

Cops somehow got involve, so I had to leave the hospital. That was the last thing I wanted.

But honestly some didn't sit right wit me especially after talking with my boys. I'm not saying she responsible, but I just don't understand how niggas found out about moms crib. It was guaranteed nobody followed because this was a gated community with security.

But my boys got me feeling like it's her, or she the reason.

Yea Arely. But I really like her, so imma move close with her and get to the bottom of it dat way.

Ain on no soft shit because if I gotta dome her ass I'll do it, but ion want to, I like her. I know I already said that.

Fuck, maybe I could get T (Tez) to do it.
