"Soooo, this is your mom's house right?" I said as we pulled into the driveway of this nice house in the suburbs

"Yea." He laughed a little.

"I mean cause I'll wait in the car." I laughed back.

We got out and I helped him get Taylor out.

"She's wet and needs to be changed ASAP." I said picking her up.

Smoke looked at me not like he was bothered, but like he was surprised I even cared I guess.

But anyway, we walked in with him leading...

"Ma!" He called.

"I'm in the kitchen!" I heard a woman's voice call.

I followed....

"Hey mama baby girl." This middle aged brown skin woman said looking in my direction.

Almost thought she was talking to my big ass

Taylor immediately got excited for her and reached for her.

"And who is this beauty." She said looking at me.

"This my friend Ar .." Smoke started

"Arely." I cut him off giving her my best smile.

"Nice to meet you Arely." She returned the smile.

"I'm gonna go change Taylor I'll be right back." She said looking at us both.

"You hungry?" Smoke asked me.

I smelt food my stomach was rumbling !

"Yea a little." I said.

"Don't sound like a little." He said making me laugh to hide my embarrassment.

It was quiet but I watched while he fixed I'm guessing my food and his.

We both sat at the island and ate, Smoke watching from his phone to the flat screen that was on the wall in the kitchen.

He went into the refrigerator and got us both a bottled water.

His mom came back down from putting the baby to sleep and then Smoke told her that we had to leave.

After him leaving out of the house and coming back in, We both left out and hopped back in to his car and he took off.

We pulled back up to this spot, but it was familiar, The place I woke up at.

"You good?" He asked me before he started to get out.

I nodded, "yea" following behind.

I followed him inside

He kept walking through speaking back to everybody and then we ended up at this back door that had a security lock on it.

"Just say I trust you to a certain extend." He suddenly said. "After all, if I hadn't hooked you up with Daisy you probably would have already been here." He said pushing the door open.

The room was full of powder and naked women some looked as young as the age of 15 and some as old as 50! Wtf? I even seen a girl name Ryder back from school. She was pretty, always kept her hair and nails done. She hung with literally no one, literally a bad bitch with zero posse.

She wasn't naked, she wore bra and shorts. Of course I knew she wouldn't notice me I was quiet back in school.

"I brought you back here, this Chicago's finest. I want you to learn how to whip it up." He said watching the other girls.

"Yo! Kerry, measure that shit no guessing." I heard him tell one of the girls.

"Do I gotta get naked." I asked him making him look at me.

"Nah, but for the sake of your clothes, just put your hair back and change into some slippers over there." He said. "I'mma be up front handling something and once I'm done I'll come back and get you." He said.

I nodded watching him walk away.

It was quiet asf so instead of asking questions I had to just fall in and catch on.

Ryder coached me on a few things but that was the only time she talked.

By the time Smoke came back he was right, my clothes were a mess I honestly told him that my house was foreclosed and that I had been staying with Daisy and that he had to take me there to shower. But they were still out doing business...

"It's cool I can just take you to my mom crib." He said.

"Sure, I would love to see my bestie Taylor." I smiled.

He gave me the side eye "tryna steal my baby from me." He joked.

"Politely." I smiled making him laugh a little... damn nigga you fine!!
