It was but two and a half full moons ago you were a sour memory in my heart, pouring concrete on my lungs, blocking the life from reaching me. I sobbed for hours until the tears cleared the night sky, and the stars twinkled frantically, like they, too, were blinking back tears, and the moon, full and majestic, whispered words of promise to every sobbing heart that night, and she vowed: love will win in the end.
