I walked out of my house and started towards my school when a blue camaro slowly pulled up beside me.

"Need a ride?"

I recognized the voice and paused.

"So you are stalking me,"

"So you don't want me to take you to the Founder's party?"

"Who said I was even going?"

"Hmm, I don't know, maybe someone named Elena,"

I rolled my eyes and walked over to the passenger side of the car and opened the door. I climbed into the car. No matter how uneasy Damon made me feel, he was Stefan's brother and Stefan was a friend.

"Do you have relatives with the last name Callowhill?" Damon asked in the midst of an awkward silence.

"Not that I know of," I replied, staring out of the window.

"Of course you don't,"

I turned to look at him. "Why would I?"

"Like I said, you look like someone Stefan and I knew,"

We approached the school and the car slowed to a halt, my eyes immediately catching Elena's. She mouthed "explain".

"Thanks, Damon," I murmured, climbing out of the car. That smirk he's always done came onto his face and he nodded. I took that as him accepting my "thanks" and started walking towards Elena and Bonnie.

"He's giving you a ride now?!"

"I have no idea what's happening," I sighed, running a hand through my hair. "I was just walking and he like, found me,"

"He tends to do that," Elena said, her eyes looking around for Stefan.

Nataliya - 1492

Katerina has been missing for days now. I lie awake at night, nights like this, hoping that she will come back home to us. Her family. She is my sister, my best friend.

And I do not have much time left to live.

The house was unusually silent tonight.

I crept out of my room, quietly stepping into the front room of the house. No one.

I heard a sound and quickly turned around to see no one. Maybe my illness was making me hallucinate.

"You are a Petrova,"

I turned around to see a man leaning against my front door.

"Who are you?!"

"Maybe your sister will get the message."

He bit his arm, deep red colors of blood pouring out as he lunged towards me, forcing the liquid into my mouth before both of his hands went onto my face, twisting sharply to the right.

Darkness.

Tatiana - Day of the Founder's Party

I climbed out of the car, pulling down the hem of my dress and inhaling.

"Shall we?"

I nodded, linking arms with Damon. I could only pray that my parents wouldn't show up and see me here with him.

"Brother!" Damon smirked as we approached Stefan and Elena.

I unlinked arms with Damon and Elena and I walked away from them.

"These parties are always boring," she said with a sigh.

"Do you get a shady vibe from Damon?" I blurted quietly, glancing over in the direction of the brothers.
