The summer air was hot and it was a bright sunny day. It was just about to be another day indoors until Taehyung called Yoongi while he was eating breakfast at his dining room table.
"Oh Taehyung-ah what's up?"
"Why hyung I have a day off today and was wondering if you wanted to hang out"
"A day off to hang out? Isn't it too hot outside today?" Yoongi said checking the temperature from his phone app
"I promise to keep you cool. It's just that today there's going to be a music festival at the park and I wanted to take you. The other day you told me you've never been to a concert before remember?"
Yoongi did recall one evening while they were texting he mentioned that to Taehyung. He asked Yoongi what was his favorite type of music and the conversation carried over to Taehyung going to a couple concerts in his life time. Yoongi thought he was so lucky to do such things and explained hes never been to one because his parents never wanted him around a big crowd unless it was done fancy high end party.
"I didn't expect you to take me to one this quickly. Also, you spent quite a lot a week before going to the amusement park. I'd feel bad for yo—"
"No no don't worry hyung this concert is a free concert. All we do is get a blanket, sit on the ground and watch the show. We can have like our own little picnic basically, while enjoying free entertainment" Taehyung explains
"Ahh... well I guess that sounds fun. It's fine because with you" Yoongi said
"Hyung you flatter me. I'm glad I can make you smile" He said softly "I'll pick you up around 1pm, we can take a taxi"
"Okay see later"
They hung up and the clock read 10:34am. Yoongi gobble up the rest of his breakfast and prepared to take a shower. Being that it was sunny outside he made sure to wear clothes to protect his skin but also make sure he won't over heat. Yoongi's never been to a picnic so he doesn't really know what to bring, or at least what Taehyung likes.
So he takes a few snacks and drinks from his kitchen and put them in a tote bag. Eventually it was 1pm and Taehyung was on time and downstairs. Yoongi rushes out the house and greets Taehyung excitedly
"Tae, what's up!"
"Hey Yoongi hyung are you ready?"
"Yup, and I got us a few snacks from my kitchen." The Brunette shows his tote bag
"I got us sandwiches and desserts from this cafe near my apartment and it's so good. Oh and I forgot the drinks, so good thing you got some" Taehyung smiles "let me call the taxi"
