Chapter 6

Aldonza's POV

Walking down the hall to our destination, I can't stop thinking about what happened back in the room. Apparently my mate caught me checking him out and that's so embarrassing. I'm a blushing mess right now.

Lexie and I are between the two males with me hiding behind my hair trying to hide the obvious red tint on my pale cheeks while following silently beside my mate who seems to be having so much fun due to the creepy smirk on his face and an extra bounce to his steps.

'That makes him look so hot right now',

You are not helping my situation, AT ALL

'Hey!! We were blessed with a smoking hot mate and I'm gonna check him out all I want, if you don't want to appreciate the magnificent carving of the God himself them it's your loss', Mariana says with a huff and retreats to the back of my mind. What a Dragon.

Soon we approach the big mahogany doors leading into the dining room. The living room is bare of any life, seems like the pack members are eager for food.

The Alphas push the heavy-looking double doors open making it seem easy and a sudden silence falls over the place. All eyes turn to us and I feel like shrinking on the spot.

I sneak a peek at Lexi and she is standing with her head held high beside the Alphas like that is where she belongs. I release a sigh inwardly, I wish I was the confident one.

The pack bows to us and to say I'm surprised is quite an understatement, to be honest I haven't received this kind of attention in forever and I hate it.

They stand on their own accord, Phew, at least the Alphas didn't have to say something like 'rise' or something like that.

We walk in slowly into the grand room and damn I am mesmerized, with white painted walls with large widows and golden accents around every corner, to the golden chandeliers hanging from the high ceiling illuminating an ethereal glow over the room, I wouldn't even consider this a dining hall to be honest. I probably look like a kid that has never seen a room before

'Wait is that gold?!', Mariana screams in my head

Tune it down a notch woma- wait GOLD?!

'Now look who's screaming now', she replies sarcastically while rolling her eyes.

I look over at Alexia slightly panicked and she seems to have the same idea glancing at me at an equally panicked state

WHAT DO WE DO?!

Stop screaming would you?!

She glances at the table we are heading at and her eyes widen only enough for me to notice. I trace her line of sight and dread fills me, Golden seats. Well not entirely gold but the edges are gold and on that table there are like eight seats in total, all gold.

We are doomed

The smell of the gold is already irritating me then the rashes will come immediately we place our butts on those God forsaken seats.

Sooner than expected we approach our table, the Alphas take the two seats at the head of the rectangular oak wood table while we the two directly beside them, with me on Jaylen's side and Lexi on Jayden's side.

We sit stiffly, trying to avoid the golden edges while sharing nervous glances. Apart from all this golden shit, the table is nicely decorated if I do say so myself. Shiny iron forks and spoons of different sizes on either side of the platter in front of me, Cool.
