OMNISCIENT
Saint sat outside on the balcony with a blunt in his hand, Sade's Cherish the Day played lowly in the background as he looked at the waves crash against each other. The cool morning wind from the ocean blew against his face. He never thought he would be this head over heels for a girl since Genesis. He vowed to never fall for a girl like this again but he was slowly but surely doing the opposite of that. He officially asked her to be his girlfriend last night , the correct way. He felt good about it too.
"What you thinking bout?" He heard Ka'Mari ask from the other side of the sliding door.
"Nothing. Just relaxing." He replied tapping the ash off his blunt. She walked over to him and sat in his lap wrapping her arms around him. She loved when he was in his vulnerable state, he was softer. Opened up a lot more as well
The two shared an amazing night together. They touched down in the DR around 12 this morning. Saint showered Mari with gifts and with each one she told him he didn't have to get it. That's what he loved about her, she could care less about the gifts just his presence alone was enough for her. He hadn't felt that in a long time. Usually bitches would chase him around for a stack or two or try to trap him because they knew what he was worth but not Mari , she was the complete opposite.
"You smell good." Saint said placing his face into the crook of her neck.
"Thank you Vivi." That was her new nickname for him , it meant lively or alive, and he would call her Diya, which meant she was a gift.
"What you wanna do today? I know you said you wanted to go see the animals, what else you had in mind?
"I wanna go to the beach and maybe try some new foods"
"I can do that." He tapped her thigh so she could get up and so he could get ready. He walked back into their suite and went into the bathroom cutting on the shower. Once the shower was heated he stepped in letting the hot water run down his face. Cool air entered the shower making him turn around. Mari stepped in wrapping her arms around his torso.
"You can't stay away from me huh?" He mumbled grabbing her loofah off the rack and passing it to her.
"I'm obsessed with you Vivi , honestly"
"And i'm obsessed with you. You die i might just go with you"
"You on me sooo bad" She said chuckling
"Real bad."
"Stay off tik tok , it's got you influenced"
"That's all i be hearing at night when you got yo phone cranked up to the highest volume like you a little ass kid"
"Not too much on me , you know i can barely hear"
"Yeah we know , Helen Keller ass"
After the couple showered and lounged around for a little bit they left their suite and decided to check out the resort, Saint also flew out his homeboys as well as Mari's closest homegirls. This wasn't Saint's first time in the DR. He came out here many times to handle business dealings , he didn't want to spoil Mari's trip though.
"Bout time we found yall, been walking around this muthafucka the whole morning" Poodah said slapping hands with Saint.
"Shit we just now getting out and shit. Long night" Poodah glared at him and he chuckled.
