"Camille you move your head one more time imma pop you with this damn comb" I was on my 6th client of the day , and one of my most tender headed clients.
"I'm sorryy, you know how i get when you start detangling, that shit hurt"
I shook my head and continued to run my comb through her thick 4b/4c curls. Once i was finished i placed a cap on her head and put her under the dryer.
"Hey Taina, was she the last one for the day?" i asked while discarding the gloves i had on into the trash bin.
"You have one more client, says here he booked a haircut and a beard treatment". she said and i looked up with suspicion. "He?"
"Yeah. Goes by the name Saint" shit
"O-okay how long until he arrives?"
"About an hour or so." I nodded my head and continued to tidy up my station. In no time i had Camille in the chair to begin working on her silk press.
Once i was finished i spun her around and handed her a handheld mirror.
"Oh shit K, you really did your thing with this" she smiled running her hands through her bone straight hair. "You know i try" i unclipped her apron and she stood from the chair handing me a $500 tip. "Thank you so much C. You know you don't have to tip me this much right?"
"I know, but you deserve it , i'll see you in a month or so" I gave her a hug and watched her walk out the door . On her way out the door chimed and in walked in my last client of the day , Saint.
The shop got silent as he shuffled through to me , I watched his every move too. He was dressed in a white fitted H&M tee , blue jeans , and a fitted cap to match the shoes he sported.
"Wassup ma?" He cracked a smile showing off all 28 of his VVS diamond encrusted teeth.
"Hey" I said awkwardly tucking a hair behind my ear. "Don't tell me you shy, matter of fact I know you ain't shy" he licked over his plump pink lips eyeing me.
I rolled my eyes and wiped down the chair. "Have a seat Saint" I said completely ignoring his question. He sat down in the chair and i clipped the cape on him to begin what i do best. About an hour later i was done.
"You like it?" I asked handing him the mirror. He examined his face in the mirror and ran his tongue across his bottom lip.
"You hooked me up forreal lil baby. I look good, you think i look good?"
"You look good" I nodded my head smirking a bit.
"Good. We can go now"
"We? What makes you think i'm going somewhere with you?" i asked placing my hands on my hips.
"I wasn't asking you i was telling you. Meet me outside in ten minutes" He pulled out a wad of cash and threw it on my counter, before walking out.
"OKAYY MARI!! Messing with a big baller I see , let me find out you Mack Daddy" Taina said making me chuckle. "It's not even like that , I just met that man and i can already tell he's crazy as hell" I said
