The curly man had been mindlessly worried the last few days.

He's been thinking about the one and only brunette more than ever. All he wants is to know if he's okay. He doesn't want to make himself look attached because he's been making numerous check-in visits. He's just trying to look out as much as he can.

He's about to do something he hasn't done in a while for a few weeks now.

He decided to ring someone that knows Luke too well. Someone who knows how he's feeling with everything.

After calling about 2 times, he put his phone down, with seconds it ringing again.

"Hiya Ashton, how've you been?" Her cheery voice rings through the other line.

"Hi, Liz. To be honest, I honestly don't know,"

"Is it Luke?" Immediately she knew what the curly man was feeling.

"Y-yeah. I'm worried for him. Like I know I've tried to see him as much as I can to make sure he's fine, but I don't wanna seem overbearing,"

"Ash, I'll tell you this. What you're doing for him is something he's adoring. He may not tell you yet, but from when I talked to him last, he's appreciative of the visits you've made and all the time you two have hung out," The reassurance the mother figure produces brings a small smile to his face.

"If I were you, just continue to keep an eye on him and remember that he appreciates what you're doing to help him "

"I know, it's just ever since everything happened, he hasn't been "himself" or at least he's trying to be but it's not working,

"He's gotta figure it out on his own. The only way you guys can know what's going on is if he can find the words to explain what his thoughts are,"

"Alright, that clears things a bit,"

"If I'm being honest, I'm so glad she's out of his life. Hated her with all my guts,"

"I think the 4 of us can definitely agree with you on that." A mini chuckle comes out of the two of them after making the agreement.

"Just keep doin what you're doin and keep me posted."

"Alright. Thank you for your amazing advice,"

"Anytime." The two bid each other goodbye and then hang up. The call gave him some breathing room as Liz helped him realize what to do.

The curly man decided to call it a night because it was getting late and his thoughts have made this day go too fast.

Meanwhile, Luke was at Calum's place as the duo sit around the couch after a long, lazy day.

Ever since his salon trip with Crystal, he's been hanging out with the other guys more and slowly becoming himself. He hasn't had a drink since the day Ashton came and helped him out.

The boys are on the couch just scrolling through their phones. Luke looks up to see his Maori fellow smiling stupidly at his phone and he gets curious.

"Cal, what are you smiling at?" the brunette asks in curiosity.

"Oh-uh, nothin," the maroi man rapidly replies

"Nothing? You sure?"

"Fine, I'm smiling at a funny dog video," he replies in a sarcastic tone which increases Luke's curiosity.

"Are you sure because there's no sound coming out of your phone, and you're moving your thumbs every time I look up,"

"What?! I can't text these videos to Si-I mean, Roy?" The maroi was caught in action as shock is plastered all over the brunette's face.
