After their little hangout, the brunette had finally been open to life again....somewhat.
In this sense, he's been out to more places than before.
When he went out with Ashton, it was like he was the reset to everything.
Not only was he able to gather his thoughts, but he managed to feel relaxed. In fact, he knew that if he were anywhere with Ashton, he knew he'd be safe.
He's figured out that the curly man has his safe place, his home.
It had only been a couple of months since everything happened, but heartache can last long.
Maybe this breakup was supposed to happen. The only thing is the pain that's left from it. The aftermath will always stay pressed into the mind until the person is ready to let go of it all, completely.
The soul that holds the thoughts needs to bring it upon himself to take it out, the only question is how does one do that?
The only way the thoughts vanish is as if he's in the same room with none other than Ashton.
So Crystal decided that today was going to be the day that all the guys meet Sierra and KayKay. She's been waiting for them to meet for a while, but she needed a perfect time.
The band finally got a couple of days off after working on countless melodies for the new album and the girls were free of gigs and sessions as well.
Everyone was meeting up and Michael's place in the night and it'll just be a nice little get-together, as their house was born for a hostess such as Crystal.
Luke and Ashton arrive along with Calum while Sierra and KayKay come in afterward.
"Glad you all can make it. So, boys, except Luke, meet KayKay and Sierra. Girls, Calum, Ashton, and my boyfriend Michael." Crystal gets everyone introduced as she's basically the only one who knows them all at that moment.
The brunette noticed the tension between Calum and Sierra and a smirk is evident in his mind as he watches this play out.
The small talk arises as drinks were already being consumed and the music was on full blast.
KayKay proceeds to grab one of the empty bottles and bring it over to the middle table of the group.
"Alright, who is ready to do a little game called spin the bottle?" KayKay ignites the group into a little playful game.
"I'm out," Michael immediately back out.
"Same here," As does Crystal as she goes over to her lovely boyfriend on the love seat.
"Alright, so 2 are out. However, 5 of us are single. So, single pringles shall unite," KayKay gets the group together as if they were a bunch of high schoolers at a party.
"Are you sure this game is a good idea?" Ashton questions.
"True, I mean, why not some beer pong. The more beer, the drunker we get," Calum injects.
"I agree with Calum," Luke agrees.
"I mean, what's a little game gonna do?" Sierra implies. Luke could tell Sierra was trying to hide any sort of feeling towards the Maori.
"Okay, let's make it private and do 7 in heaven," KayKay says.
"Turn the music up," Calum yells which Michael proceeds to do so.
"Alright, let's do this. Spin the bottle. The two it lands on go to the coat closet for 7 minutes."
"Now that's the sport. Boys?" KayKay points the bottle to the three men who stare intently at it.
