After a few months of hard work for the first half of the year, the time for the long-awaited trip has arrived. 

After their get-together at Michael and Crystal's place, they all decided they wanted to go on a little getaway.

The guys are in the midst of writing the third album, but Andrew was able to let the guys have a week or so off to detox and relax.

The girls were able to work around their schedules as well so the 7 of them can go out and explore somewhere tropical.

It was very early in the morning as the sun hasn't even come out. Crystal and Kaykay thankfully had electric cars so Auto-pilot was coming into great use today.

Tiredly getting themselves out of the cars, they arrived at the busy airport. 

For an airport this busy, it caught the group off guard as they felt like a couple more shots of expresso wouldn't do any harm.

"Guys, why did we ever think booking a flight at 7 AM was ideal?" the sleepy Maori leans onto Luke's shoulder which doesn't help as he too is in a tired state.

"Well, if we want to spend more of our time on the day we get there, flights in the early morning worked," the curly man managed to give an answer as he was the only one awake. 

"You know, just getting there would be perfectly fine. It's an air BnB and there's a nice back patio thing. We can just chill there the whole time," Kaykay adds.

"KayKay is speaking like a true wordsmith at the moment," Michael mumbles, clearly not understanding what he's saying himself. 

"Alright, how about all of us hush, and then we can get through this check-in peacefully," Crystal interjects so she can have the last word.

"Oh also, before I forget,"

"Ash, seriously, how do you have this much energy?" Sierra questions. No one ever understood the curly man's work ethic but as they say, it is what it is. 

"3 expressos in and I am hyper as I could be. Anyways, I wanted to let you guys know I'm bringing someone on this trip. I guess I can let you know now since-" he gets cut off as a man with dark waves approaches the group.

"Adam!" Ashton engulfs the strange man in a hug as the gang gives tired but confused looks.

"Umm, Ash, who's this exactly?" the brunette took aback speaks up after his internal shock hit him.

"Well guys, this is Adam, my Uhm, b-boyfriend," everyone gets an immediate shock as no one knew the curly man had been seeing someone. The brunette however had pain written all over his eyes again. 

Whatever feelings he was building towards the curly man had been rejected indirectly and was another way of reality hitting him in the face once again.

His mind has now been awoken by the news as he needs to find a way to process this. Swirling with thoughts, the brunette wished for this check-in process to fly by so he can go somewhere to be on his own for a bit.

"Well, it is really nice to meet you all. I can't wait to get to know you during this trip," Adam says a small blurb while the group is still a little silent from the past moments.

"It's nice to meet you, Adam," Kaykay was the first to speak to ease the looming silence within the 8 of them.

The brunette started having this feeling that something feels off about Alex as if he's seen him somewhere. It was too early for him to decipher it all, but he knew for sure that he will get to the bottom of all of this immediately.
