Chapter 9: Punz

Y/N woke up, seeing tubbo standing next to the door, y/n looked around for wilbur to see he was missing. Tubbo gulped as he seemed to be shaking.
“H-hi! I was just gonna wake you up!” Tubbo said with a smile but that smile seemed to have faded, y/n raised a brow to see Tommy was outside, looking at a compass, neither of the boys looked very happy. It hit y/n, the showdown was today. So much has happened these past few days really made
Y/n feel that time isn't a thing. Y/N got up from his position from the couch, he placed on a jacket and went to his chest and handed tubbo regeneration potions.
“You'll need these more than me.” y/n chuckled the glass bottles clanked when handing them to tubbo, tubbo hesitantly grabbed them and placed him in his back,
y/n looked at the smaller boy closer his armor was shiny, it must've taken a lot of time to make it. Tubbo standed up proudly but was still shaking. He looked like he had more to say.
    “Uh,,, i came here to say goodbye, then i saw you were sleeping and ack-'' tubbo was struggling with his words, it always made y/n chuckle when he tried to speak without having to take a second take.  y/n placed a hand on Tubbos shoulder.
     “This isn't a goodbye tubbo, this is a hello.” y/n smiled tiredly, tubbo was y/n best man, tommy had wilbur so y/n took in tubbo under his wing. He was somewhat as a father figure to Tubbo then a brother figure. It always put a smile on y/n face that the boy was growing and with Tommy by his side, he believed Tubbo could do anything. Tubbo sniffled making y/n get out of his small thought process, a small tear fell as he leaped on y/n for a hug, with the armor on it was a lot heavier, making y/n have to balance a bit better.
     “Well then, if this is a hello then hi! It's nice to see you again..” Tubbo chuckled making y/n smile more. Tommy came in making tubbo let go of y/n, as they walked out. Both boys looked at y/n, y/n gave a salute to the boys who are now far but still in view.
“COME HOME SAFELY!” y/n yelled out, the boys waved to show they heard him. They slowly started to leave from view. y/n went back inside and now was looking for wilbur.
“Wilbur?” y/n called out hearing something shuffle in his room. y/n exhaled out of relief, he went into the room seeing the particles from the invisible potions, y/n chuckled as he went back into the kitchen and  grabbed milk from the fridge, he walked back in his room to wilbur, feeling his cold hands touch his. He sipped the milk slowly and became visible.
“Hello.” y/n said softy making wilbur smile.
“Hi!” he giggled, putting y/n in a hug.  y/n jumped a bit but relaxed into the hug.
  “Sorry, i'm not use to you being so jumpy.'' Wilbur said, y/n chuckled as they swayed. Later wilbur let go and went to sit on the couch.  
     A knock was at the door, y/n looked out seeing puns place something on his door and then fly away on his trident. y/n opened his door and there was a letter. y/n opened it and started reading it said,
‘Dear y/n, I hope you find this letter in good health but you see there is a small problem, Dream lied to all of us and I need you to come help me and others fight for tommy! I know he has made many mistakes but please consider the chances to come and get your revenge on the crimes he has done to not only you but to others as well.
Yours truly, everyone on the SMP. ‘

The letter was short and simple, At the end of the letter was where Punz wanted y/n to meet him at. This is it, everyone is against Dream! Something about that made y/n smile with a light chuckle that turned into a joyful laugh. Wilbur looked over to y/n to see if he was alright.
“Love?” Wilbur asked, y/n laugh turned to a low giggle and then nothing as he turned to wilbur with joy.
“Where getting revenge on the green man! Isn't that amazing wilbur! Tommy did it! Tommy won! We won! Our symphony is over! A new life has just started! Aren't you happy! He finished the tune… It's over. The green man is meeting his end” y/n jumped on the couch next to Wilbur, he felt like a schoolgirl who got asked to prom but he didnt care, Tommy won, Wilburs words to Tommy were wrong. Wilbur seemed shocked, he never knew Tommy would make it this far. Wilbur always thought he was a naive child that did what he wanted that he wouldn't get this far but today seems to be the day that wilbur was proven wrong. He was wrong about Tommy, his own brother proved him wrong. Maybe he shouldn't have been so hard on Tommy, Wilbur chuckled as a soft smile appeared on his face.
“He hasn't won just yet love, but you were right… i was wrong.'' Wilbur admitted, making y/n smile as he pressed his head against wilburs, a moment of silence, this nation all started with wilbur and tommy, then y/n and tubbo just the four of them and then fundy got into the picture, that's when y/n got closer with wilbur and then soon Nikki and jack. L’manberg lost it's life a long time ago and now a new beginning has started and it rests on Tommys shoulders. The Hero of this said story. The thought made y/n chuckle. He gave wilbur a kiss on the forehead before getting up. He got up and grabbed an empty journal out of his bag, he grabbed his pen and wrote. “The Adventures Of Tommyinnit And Tubbo, Written by Y/N
L/N'' on the first page and closed the book, a piece of work he will start writing eventually. y/n walked in his room and looked at the button next to his closet.
“I should get ready..” y/n said pressing the small button, a gash of wind was heard from the button as the walls started to open a small room with y/n old stuff from L’Manberg, his old Uniform wilbur made from hand just for him, at first it was tight until y/n started making the uniforms for them. his armor when him and techno started to prepare for war, only he knew of the vault techno kept until he showed everyone. That went downhill so fast, y/n noted to repay techno 10 netherite later when this was all over. Finally his Weapons, they had been there since the first war, tommy helped him create his axe, then as a gift wilbur gave him his sword, y/n couldn't help but laugh at the memories of such a closet. He hadn't worn armor in a long time. Having to put back on the heavy netherite gave him flashes of the first war. He made sure the armor was on tight so it didn't fall off. Taking a deep breath he opened his weapons chest, the smell of dust and gunpowder filled the air, more memories started to flood inside y/ns head. Grabbing his trident, sword, axe and his L’manberg shield, the shield was made by his own hands, seeing how warped it was and the durability wouldn't last long if they were gonna fight Dream. He decided to keep the shield in the chest. He didn't need a shield anyways. Y/N grabbed gapples and his helmet. y/n exited his room, meeting wilburs gaze, he seemed worried. y/n chuckled as he cupped wilburs face.
“It's gonna be ok, I'm sure we are gonna do a lot of fighting. I'll be back home soon.” y/n kissed wilbur on the forehead and left out the door. Walking he met puns at the entrance.
“You came.” Punz said, y/n nodded, y/n looked at his helmet, seeing flashes of him looking at his helmet at the first war with Dream. He could hear the fire crackling and hearing the sound of tnt go off, the smell of smoke filled his nose. He took a deep breath and placed the helmet on and they both started walking to a different portal.
“I take that my note was rather interesting?” puns asked making y/n chuckle
“You need to work on it a bit, but this will end.” Y/n said with a chuckle.  Punz nodded looking down. Y/N looked at punz, seeing that he was puzzled with something.
“What's wrong puns?” y/n questioned as they walked, in the distance was everyone, the only ones missing was techno, philza and of course george.
“I work for money, what Tommy offered was more than Dream ever could but, Dream was one of my pals… hearing tommys side of the story made me rethink my job. I totally spaced out about working for money.” Punz saddened, y/n patted his back as they stopped seeing everyone. Y/N looked at everyone, they were all talking amongst one another. He saw ranboo writing in his notebook and made y/n smile, he looked back at Punz.
“Whatever it takes right? Plus, Dream never thought of you as a friend, i'm sorry you have to hear it from me but it's true.. Someone who has been manipulated and tormented, I can see the difference between what is real and what is fake Punz, what you have done for Dream it was real for you in return.. It wasn't.” y/n said placing a hand on Punz shoulder, making him look at y/n.
“How do you know?” Punz asked with a hint of sadness in his voice, the flashes of dream telling y/n why he doesn't care for anything in that cave made the situation worse. y/n patted Punz shoulder and smiled
“Because he Told me…. He tried to imprison me, I understand if you don't believe me but once you see it, you'll understand.” y/n shrugged his shoulders, he looked over to see everyone look at them, he looked back at Punz. “Let's get our server back.” Y/N smiled and placed a hand out to everyone, punz looked at everyone and then at y/n. He thought for a moment before looking at everyone
“Let's get our server back.” Punz said with a smile, raising his fist in the air as everyone cheered. y/n looked at Punz, seeing the man was back at being himself, y/n couldn't help but smile. He took a deep breath, this time the air was clean and easy to breath. y/n looked at the sky. The final showdown has now started, and this time y/n was ready. The cheers died down when puns placed his fist down.
“Alright the plan is, Tommy will send out the last message to me and i'll go in then y/n will go in and then all of you follow after? Got it?” Punz answered seeing if anyone didn't understand, they all seemed to understand, they waited for the signal. The signal went off and Punz got up and took one final look at everyone. “This is it. See you all on the other side.” Punz said  and went in. Punz stepped out of the portal facing Dream. Punz turned his head to the right, seeing Tommy and Tubbo with a bright smile on their faces, Punz took a deep breath seeing the boys where ok then looking back at Dream.
“Punz?” dream questioned with a slight chuckle, the face of betrayal seems to loom over him. Puzzled on why Punz was here, Tommy was excited to see he actually came, Tommy held Tubbos hand and kept him close.
“I'm sorry, Dream.” Punz paused, y/n stepped out the portal with a sword ready and then everyone else came through the portal, dreams face seemed to pale.
“YEAHHHHH” tubbo and Tommy cheered happily. Y/N grabbed on tubbo and tommy and placed them behind him. Dream tried to reach out to them but Sapnap stopped Dream from getting too close.
       

              “You should've paid me more.”
