Life was nice most of the time. You had a bed, a small home next to the staircase leading out of the underground (which was the safest place to live in the underground). You had enough food to manage. You couldn't complain.

Except for now.

Currently, you had a knife to your throat by four burley men. Ok so. I know what you're thinking. How did I end up here? Well you see, it started with-

"Listen here, street rat"

Oh yeah. Forgot about that.

"We heard around that you have access to odm gear and a record for clean swipes"

"Yeah, so" you choked out behind the knife.

"We have a deal for you. In exchange for $12,000 and your life, we want you to take a person down"

12...

12,00?!??

That would be enough to get you out of the underground!

"Alright. Who is this person?"

"Levi Ackerman"

Oh nooo
No no no no no
Stop
What
Why
Of all people
It's either he kills me or Ackerman does.

"I accept"

WHAT ARE WORDS

"Good" he signaled to his buddies and they released the knife before beginning to walk away.

"Now remember. You have two weeks. If you fail, just remember we have eyes everywhere"

Slap cheese on a wall and kill me.

I quickly ran home, grabbing my throwing knives, dagger, odm gear, hood I stole like a year ago and left, wanting to get it over with. Yes, I can't really leave the underground but I CAN pose as a soldier of the military police with the hood I stole.

Sneaking into an alleyway, you put on your disguise, also binding down your chesk and putting your hair into your hood to pose as a male. It was hard to be a woman in a place like this so your disguise gave you a small sense of security.

Making you way to the stairway, you stepped up, attempting to look as professional as you could. The guards on the staircase barely gave you a second glance as you passed by into the second level of stairs. This is where it became hard. The guards here were strict on who got to leave.

At the bottom, you could see them distracted at the top. Taking the chance, you deployed your odm gear and flew past them, ignoring their shocked shouts. It was easy this time as they had orders not to leave their place until they were sure you were suspicious. For now, all they could do was report you, which usually took a week to process and you'd ,hopefully, be out by then. Going from building to building after making it out, you arrived on the roof of one of the upper class homes.

You were somehow exhausted. You went from being strangled to being out of the underground for the first time on a job. Taking a seat, you looked up into the sky. The urge to burst into tears at the sight was too strong but you held back, only allowing one tear to slide down your sun-illuminated cheeks.

The sun and the sky were more amazing than you could imagine. The deep blue color of the sky was mesmerizing, as were the white puffs you saw floating through them. The sun was too bright to look at directly but you still did.

Finally looking down, you saw kids playing in the streets. There were shops set up around the square and a place to rest horses. It was hard for you to imagine so many people could all be together at once without being at risk of crime.
