AY YO WHAT. 240+ readers?!?? YALL CRAZY.

You,

Yes you

Worked at a daycare part time. You needed extra cash and it just so happened that this place was hiring, for a great

Right now you were sat pressing a cloth to one of the children's knees, the cloth soaking up the milky white blood he'd gotten from tripping and landing on them.

You see, people are born with milky white blood. So pure, so innocent. Untainted by society. Alas, their blood couldn't stay this pure forever. No one was without crime. The more crimes a person comments, the redder their blood taints.

The darkest you had ever seen was a very bright red. It had been on an elderly man. You'd seen it on a scratch that seemed to be on a cat while crossing the street.

Your own blood was white, seeing as you'd never really committed any crimes.

Either way, working around children with white blood was bliss. They were well behaved, selfless, kind, and so much more.

The kid was trying his absolute best to hold back tears, claiming that it didn't hurt and that he was fine.

After disinfecting the wound, that being the most painful part, you put a bandage over it, making sure it was secure. However, the kid didn't get up. Seemed like he was waiting for something.

You didn't know what until you suddenly remembered, giving a motherly smile as you bent down and left a small kiss over the bandage.

The boy's face lit up as you both rose to stand and he hugged your leg, thanking you before running off. How you loved this job.

Your shift was coming to an end and you had to pry off the kids who attempted to keep you from leaving.

"Come on, guys. Miss Y/N has to go home" your coworker helplessly called out in a futile attempt of getting them off your leg.

"NoooOoO! TAKE ME WITH YOUUUU" well, angels for the most part.

You bent down and placed you hands on a two of the kids heads.

"I have to go home now but I promise that tomorrow, I'll roll out the old TV and bring a copy of Lilo and Stitch. How about that?"

This seemed to work as the children cheered, thanking you before running off to play. Letting out a sigh of relief, you bid your coworker farewell before leaving the daycare.

Outside, your amazing husband and soulmate, Levi, had been waiting for you in his car so you could both go home. Upon seeing you heading towards the car, he locked the door on your side.

Finally reaching the car, you attempted to over the door but failed. You kept trying to open the door, not knowing he had locked it. At this, Levi wore a fake expression of irritation, rolling his eyes.

You sighed in defeat, pouting and sending him your best puppy eyes in hopes he'd help you. Instead, he shook his head and made no move to help.

You didn't know what to do until a sudden, genius idea appeared in your absolutely amazing, show stopping mind. With a smirk, you made your way to the side he sat on, open his door and sitting on his lap.

Now you got him. He hadn't even gotten close to expecting this, a small blush rising to his cheeks as he wrapped his arms around your waist, burying his face in your hair.

His actions caused you to let out a small laugh, to which he looked up and

pushed you away to the passenger seat, attempting to get rid of his blush and drive back home.
