Levi x Criminal!Reader part 2

The first day was up and it couldn't have gone better. It was the next morning and you were given your uniform. It was a bit difficult to explain why your name wasn't on the board but you managed. You were currently being evaluated on your skills to see which squad you'd be assigned to. Obviously, your goal was Levi squad.

They were testing your hand to hand combat skills and your skills in killing the fake Titan with odm gear.

Since you didn't really sign up for the cadet corps, you had no idea where to kill the titans from. Your knowledge came from watching the others.

Get the nape. The nape to the bottom.

Was repeating in your head as you approached a 12 meter from behind. Leaning your arms that held the blades back, you spin into action towards the Titan, effectively cutting the nape.

I did it?!?

Yes, your odm skills were good from practice in the underground but to be able to take out a nape was astonishing to you. Sure, it was fake but you couldn't help feeling like you achieved something.

You went on to take out majority of the tall ones, completely forgetting about the job and just having fun. Unknown to you, you had caught Levi's attention.

One of the others was going for a Titan near you. Being how you were, you swooped in and took it out before they could, yelling a shout of excitement before heading away.

Once time was up, you had moved on to hand-to-hand combat. They paired each of you with one of the squad leaders to evaluate you. You, of course, were paired with Levi.

You were both in fighting stance, for the countdown.

His face was stone cold, not releasing any hint of emotion. Wanting to lighten the thick tension, you attempted to make small talk.

"So...Uh...come here often..?"

He simply narrowed his eyes.

"Is that a no..?" You nervously giggled

You barely had time to react to the fist swinging towards you. You dodged it, grinning.

I dodged! Yes yes-

Yeahh turns out he wanted you to dodge.

Your dodge left you crouching below the punch, allowing him to sweep a foot past your legs and knocking you in the ground.

"Focus more on fighting than talking, brat-" you cut him off by repeating his actions, kicking your legs past his and tripping him to the ground. This movement gave you enough time to stand up. He, instead flipped into a standing position, taking less time than you did.

I should've stayed down..

Not wasting a moment, you threw a kick towards him. As he caught it, you smirked in victory. His confusion was evident as you pushed your self up with the leg had caught and kneed him straight in the face with the other.

He let you go and you fell back.

With a glare and a bloody nose, he simply walked away.

Did I...do something wrong...?

"All dismissed! You will be called in during lunch hour to see your squads!"

You flopped onto the bed in the room you were giving. Rolling onto your back, you fell into your thoughts.
