"Stay away from my man."
Apollo's blue eyes had turned the color of the sun, his fists clenching at his side, looming over Zephyrus.
Hyacinthus was casually slumped on his now damaged wall, sucking in his breath. It felt like every bone in his body was broken, maybe it was because he literally just got the full impact of Apollo's hit.
Zephyrus apparently didn't like Apollo standing over him and swiftly kicked his ankles.
"Unfair!" Apollo yelled. Any normal mortal would've kissed the ground, but he was god. His reaction time was getting a bit slow since it had been so peaceful (just erase Zephyrus from the picture,) but he still managed to levitate himself before hitting the ground. Zephyrus looked over at Hyacinthus, his eyes widening in concern and shock.
Hyacinthus finger gunned him.
History repeats itself, apparently what occurred only minutes ago counts as history. Zephyrus once again got kicked in the face, his distraction leaving a small spot for Apollo to strike.
"Do you not get what 'stay away' means?" Apollo snapped, stomping over.
"Do you not care for his life?" Zephyrus said, blinking quizzically at Apollo.
"What-?" Apollo's eyes momentarily extinguished to see Hyacinthus's tiny ant struggle to prop himself up against a wall, glowering at both gods.
"Hyacinthus!" Apollo forgot Zephyrus, his attention span was short, bless him- Immediately, he waved his hand over Hyacinthus's head, a soft golden glow filling the room. Zephyrus was crossing his arms while this happened, but waiting patiently until he was sure Hyacinthus was alright.
"Hyacinthus," Zephyrus said. "I'm not going to force you to be mine."
There a mild "Seems like you intended to devirginize him a few minutes ago-" from Apollo, but Zephyrus ignored that.
"It's your choice, but understand that this squid was inefficient in defending his lover and putting the full force of a god on a mortal. Even though it was an accident, I cannot forgive this."
Hyacinthus sat up, his hand slipping a piece of the wall which made him stumble, but he sat up eventually. "Uh-"
"I'll be awaiting your answer." Zephyrus threw a small white ball at him, Before it hit Hyacinthus, it disappeared. He then proceeded to jump off his balcony.
"You-" Apollo seethed, but taking Zephyrus's words to heart. He did fail to protect Hyacinthus, but healing him balanced out his fault, right? He turned his head back to Hyacinthus, his beautiful face wrinkled with worry.
"Are you alright?"
Of course not. "Yeah, fine, and thank you." Hyacinthus said, but his eyes were still lingering on the balcony Zephyrus jumped off of.
