______
Ethaline spent all night tossing in her bed. This was it; this was the way she could prove her alliance. She wasn't going to give into her family's outdated beliefs. Henry was right, nobody would stand for it if Slytherin was allowed into Dumbledore's army.
It was her duty to help.
At seven in the morning on Saturday, Ethaline made up her mind.
She was going to do it; this was her role in the war and she was going to do her very best to protect the people who were oppressed and discriminated against because of their qualities that are associated with the Dark Lord.
As for the proof Henry was talking about, she gripped the book he had given her after their meeting was dispersed.
"Take Well care of it," he said, "It's the only copy."
Up until now she couldn't bring herself to open it. She was scared, truthfully but she slowly opened the page and went to the number Henry told her about. They were serious about it needing her if they were willing to search wide and far for a single passage that could get her on their side.
MOTHER OF DRAGONS
It was written in biblical times of a woman who could speak to beasts that devoured and fed on human blood. For centuries the creatures were savage, burning hundreds of towns and people to dust until hope came to them in the form of a woman.
Ethaline set the book down, "This is absurd." She muttered to herself as she pinned her hair up and sighing before she continued to read.
While the origins of the woman were unknown, it was rumored to be a woman of European Origins. Legends tell her to have tamed all the dragons in the world, each bending to her will and command and when she passed they would mourn by raining fire on earth—
"Merlin!" Ethaline muttered in disbelief.
—the first woman with the ability passed and prophecy states that it would occur at any time the dragon's heir would need them in battle.
"How convenient."
Lastly, the determination of who would become the heir would come from their need and determination to help those who are at the foot of all human problems—the oppressed, discriminated and enslaved.
A true leader.
"Rubbish." She muttered, tossing the book aside as she got up and grabbed her cloak. "Crius, I need you to send a letter for me." She said before grabbing a quill and writing something down
Meet me by the lake, as soon as you can.
-E.MShe handed it to her owl and grabbed a basket before grabbing some pleats and such. She felt like stopping by Hagrid's hut right before. Exhaling, she walked down the hill and looked around. She felt calmer, her breathing was much more controlled and she felt like she did last year at around this time.
