Draco Malfoy paced around his room, his hands holding his face as he processed what had just happened. His parents were used as a rue to get Ethaline to break only for her to use the opportunity to humiliate the dark lord again.

If anything, Draco was amused with his darling sister. Weeks of endless torture, drowning in a frame, experiencing fire and learning she didn't burn, slashed with spells so her skin would split and reveal her inner parts anything and everything the death eaters could think of they did.

Not once did she break.

Why was it she had remained so strong throughout her time here? He asked himself. Was it because she required strength from the very creatures she led? Or was it the entirety of her army that moved her to not speak?

Either way the Dark Lord was becoming more and more furious he had overheard a conversation saying she should just be killed.

Draco never intended for this to happen, he never once thought he'd be forced to hear his sisters scream from below the floor he slept on. Never. Why? Because she had a simple task, follow the rules laid out for them. And not only did she not do that, but she went out of her way to insert herself into a war that she now led an army from the confines of her prison.

Now he owed her.

Their parents were subject to having their minds intruded on, meaning he couldn't ask for their advice. He had to orchestrate her escape all on his own. Betray the very cause he felt iffy against and save his sister.

Draco exhaled shakily before, his hands in his blonde hair before his eyes widened with realization.

He quickly opened the door of his bedroom and walked down the hall before standing in front of the play room they shared as children. He reached for the door knob, checking back to see if anyone was near before opening it and entering the room before closing it.

Once inside his eyes scanned the colorful room, the only room in the entire Manor that had color. It was their favorite as children because of this.

He ruamged around the boxes, making sure he was quite before giving up. It wasn't there.

In that moment he felt all hope leave his body as he slumped on the ground, his black suit covered in a light dust from doing so before he leaned his head in the wall.

"I hate this place." He muttered to the small bear next to him before he reached for it and accidentally knocked something down when he felt a slight zap.
