The class that Ethaline was in was in the middle of learning how to create a defensive spell when Professor McGonagall called all Slytherins and Gryffindors down to the hall.

Head of houses were supposed to show them to how dance properly to not embarrass the school but Professor Snape had straight up refused to show anyone leaving them to Professor McGonagall.

"My lady," Theo said, bowing for Ethaline's hand as they walked up the stairs.

Ethaline giggled quietly, bowing to meet him before the two stood up and walked hand in hand into the room where the Gryffindor's sat lazily on the ground bored out of their mind.

"Wonderful." Draco muttered in disgust.

"We don't even need this class," Pansy said to McGonagall, "Some of us, took ball growing up and know our way around." She said, looking back at Theo, Ethaline and Draco.

"But some of them haven't which is why it's important we share what we know with the others." McGonagall fired back in her usual tone.

Ethaline sighed and walked with Theo to a spot at the wall, her posture high and eyes alert as she watched McGonagall call Ronald Weasley to dance with her as a demonstration.

"Why couldn't you have asked Theodore or better yet Pansy who seems to know everything." Ron groaned, ignoring the eyes of his twin brothers snickering in the back.

"Oi," Harry called for the twins, "You never going to let them forget this are you?" He asked, a smirk in his lips as the twins grinned.

"Never." They chorused.

Ethaline couldn't help but smile at the interaction, she had wished her relationship with Draco would have been like the Weasley twins. Wreaking havoc together instead of always being on either opposing sides or she was the follower. She was never the equal.

McGonagall demonstrated how with passive aggressive comments before she told them to partner up with the opposite house. Theo groaned and practically stomped over to Hermione who seemed to be scared of him.

Draco and Pansy refused to touch the red cloaked students and insisted they were better together. To avoid an argument McGonagall allowed them to stay together.

Meanwhile Ethaline looked for Neville, hoping he wasn't otherwise occupied before sighing in disappointment, it was then Fred Weasley motioned for her.

A little background history on the tall and mischievous ginger, Ethaline had the biggest crush on him in her second year. He was everything her family hated which meant he was something she could have without them taking it for themselves like vultures.

Though she got over him rather quickly.

"I'm giving you two choices here Malfoy," Fred said with a small smirk, "Dance with me or dance with Harry."

Ethaline immediately said, "You."

Though she had no idea it was a devious plan of his to make her uncomfortable as he said, "Actually you can dance with Harry." He said, watching as she rolled her eyes.

That was payback from the time she allowed Draco to try and snitch on the twins.

Harry awkwardly held his arm out for her, she took it. "It's quite simple Potter." Ethaline said, "We'll be doing exactly what she did, only adding more momentum to it."

Harry gave her an uncertain look, "I'm really...terrible at dancing."

Ethaline gave him an encouraging smile, "Just...follow me." She said, forgetting that she hated him and slowly they danced together. He occasionally stepped in her toe making her smile or laugh, her nose scrunching up as she realized how bad he was.
