"Ahem... Hope's Peak Academy's School Trip Executive Committee has an announcement to make... Gooooood morning, everyone! Looks like today is gonna be another perfect, tropical day! Now then, let's show some enthusiasm and make sure to give it our all today!"

"...Guess it's time to head to the restaurant..." Hajime mutters to himself as he wakes up from the sound of the morning announcement and leaves his cottage to head towards the restaurant.

But once he arrives there... He's met with an odd sight...

"Sob... sob..." It was Akane, and she was crying

"...Huh?! A-Akane?! Are you... crying...?" Hajime asks her

"...Waaaaaaaaaaaaah! I-I'm... scared... What's going to happen to us...? I'm so scared!" Akane wails

"W-What's going on? Is she in shock because of Nekomaru?" Hajime asks

"She's been like this for a while now. Nothing I do can calm her down..." F/N tells him with a heavy sigh.

"O-Oh, you're already here F/N?" Hajime mutters as he turns towards the boy. After what happened last night, Hajime is still pretty on edge whenever he's around F/N. After all... He's definitely hiding something.

"Hey... I know how you must feel right now, but now's not the time." F/N tells Hajime as he snaps him out of his daze.

"O-Oh, sorry. I think... I'll just ask the others here about what's going on..." Hajime tells him before walking over to Hiyoko.

"....You know... I think tying Nagito up was a pretty good idea. Or at least... it was a start." Hiyoko mutters to Hajime as she notices his presence.

"We should do more, though! We should peel the skin off his face so no one can even tell who he is." She adds with a furious expression

"Y-You seem a little agitated... Did something happen?" Hajime asks her

"Nagito... He... just lied and said he saw Mahiru alive at the movie theatre..." Hiyoko mutters as tears well up in her eyes.

"W-What...? Why would he say that? What's the point?" Hajime asks her

"I have no idea. And I hate being deceived... We should twist every joint in his body backwards! A-And break all his bones too!" Hiyoko decides

"I-I'll... I'll go talk to him." Hajime mutters as he walks over to Nagito

"...Hey, what's wrong with Akane? She's acting strange." Hajime questions

"Watch out, Hajime! Fuyuhiko is most likely a fake!" Nagito warns Hajime

"...Huh?"

"I know. The real Fuyuhiko died. Which means that this one is probably... Yeah, it means he must be a clone!" Nagito concludes with an assured expression

"What the hell are you saying?" Hajime asks him

"That's not all. I just heard from Monobear. He couldn't save Nekomaru. It's unfortunate... But there'll be a new exchange student coming to take his place soon. We should all go give him a warm welcome!" Nagito informs him

"Nagito, what... just... what the hell are you playing at this time?" Hajime questions him with an annoyed expression

"I'm not playing at anything! I'm only telling the truth, as always!" Nagito tells him

"Here, let me prove it. I have some secret information to share..." He adds before getting close to Hajime and whispering in his ear
