"Ahem! Let's begin with a basic explanation of the class trial! So, your votes will determine the results. If you can figure out "whodunnit" then only they will receive punishment. But if you pick the wrong one... then I'll punish everyone besides the blackened, and the one that deceived everyone else will earn the right to leave this island!" Monokuma explains to everyone

"Such a cruel rule...!" Monomi exclaims

"...Before we begin, I'd like to confirm one thing. Is there really a killer among us?" Nagito asks Monokuma

"Of course there is... Our murderous culprit is definitely one of you. It truly is a sad tale, isn't it?" Monokuma responds

"By the way, this school trial is 100% fair and square, so please relax. After Monomi, favoritism and injustice are the things I hate the most!" He assures everyone

"You really hate me that much?!" Monomi asks

"Well, then, let's begin!" Monokuma tells everyone

"Y-You say we should begin... but, what exactly are we supposed to do?" Mikan asks him

"How 'bout we quit fussing around and just decide with our fists?!" Akane suggests

"Were you even listening to the rules?!" Kazuichi asks her

"That moron Byakuya was killed in the main hall, wasn't he? In that case, the people in there with him are the most suspicious ones." Fuyuhiko tells everyone

"Sure, sure. So what you're trying to say is that you're not the culprit, right?" Mahiru asks him

"No shit. It's you guys who started this mutual killing business... It's got nothing to do with me." Fuyuhiko responds

"Huh? What the...?" Mahiru exclaims

"How about we start off by discussing the most pressing issue right now?" F/N suggests.

"The most pressing issue...?" Teruteru questions him

"The location of the body... It's strange that we found it under that table." F/N tells him

"Then... let's start with that mystery." Chiaki says

"Why was Byakuya's body in a place like that?" Nagito asks

"His body was under the table... at the very back of the dining hall." Gundham adds

"Maybe after the culprit killed Byakuya... they moved the body under the table?" Kazuichi theorizes

"Eh? But why would they do that?" Hiyoko asks

"Obviously, by hiding the body... they tried to delay it's discovery! Like a dog burying a bone!" Ibuki exclaims

"...But, is there any proof that the body was moved from where it was originally killed?" F/N wonders

"No, there isn't." Hajime chimes in

"...Huh? Why do you say that?" Kazuichi asks him

"Try and remember the state of things under the table when we found the body..." Nagito begins

"There was a large amount of blood there, but no blood trails that would suggest the body had been moved." He explains

"So, it's unlikely that the culprit moved the body... I see! That makes sense!" Mahiru says

"Gaaah! And I was so sure I was onto something!" Kazuichi sighs

"So you're an idiot as well as unattractive and bland! Is there any reason for you to go on living?" Hiyoko wonders
