3rd Person POV

"By...akuya...? Why is Byakuya...?" Sonia trails off

"WHAT'S GOING OOOOOOOOOON?!" Nekomaru shouts with a horrified expression

"AGYAAAAAAAAA!!" Teruteru shouts

Showers of screams rang out across the room as everyone realized what it was they were looking at.

Byakuya Togami's body laid there as clear as day. The stench of blood slowly drowned out the smell of food that was once there.

"Th-This... It's impossible...! Don't mess with me! This must be some kind of mistake!!" Kazuichi exclaims in fear

"This... isn't real blood, right? It's just jam or sauce... I-It can't be..." Ibuki started foaming at the mouth.

"..." F/N remained silent as he tied the table cloth so he didn't need to keep holding it up.

"Aw man... guess he died after all. What a shame..." A voice says to F/N

"...." F/N scowled as he backed away from the body and got closer to the rest of the group.

Everyone had their own different reactions upon seeing Byakuya's body. The common emotion that everyone is feeling is of course fear. Fear of seeing what's left of Byakuya. Fear that they might be next. Fear that someone among them is a killer...

But the person who feels the most fear right now is definitely Mahiru. For you see... as soon as she laid eyes on Byakuya's corpse, the smell of his blood invaded her senses, and her vision swam almost immediately. She would've fainted immediately had F/N not caught her in time.

"Hey.... now's not the time to fall asleep..." F/N says with a stern expression as he helps mahiru regain her footing.

"Ugh.... Y-Yeah, you're right..." Mahiru says as she covers her mouth to prevent herself from throwing up.

"Goodness! I see something shocking has happened!" Monokuma exclaims as he appears in the room.

"Shocking! Just, shocking! I mean, isn't it electrifying?!" He asks everyone

"The newly deserted Jabberwock Island has finally seen its first murder!" Monokuma cackles

"M-Murder...?" Hajime mutters

"W-Wait! So, you mean...!" Kazuichi exclaims

"Puhuhu... Of course... Byakuya... was killed by one of you!" Monokuma tells him

"Wha...?!"

"You can tell just by looking at the body. It's obviously murder! Look at that ugly face... It's the face of a man cursed with losing his life for the sake of another person's ego. When you see that kind of dead face... What could it be other than murder?!" Monokuma asked with an excited cackle

"Someone here wanted so desperately to go home that they decided to make Byakuya a victim." He says

"Y-You're lying... It's a lie! No one killed him!" Hajime shouts. But, the moment he said the word killed... A thick feeling of despair immediately swelled up within him.

Right then, in that moment...

In that moment, Hajime finally accepted that someone did kill Byakuya.

"What... is this? Why is Byakuya dead...?" Peko asks as she walks into the room along with Chiaki

"Why... Why did this happen? Why Byakuya?" Chiaki asked. Her legs were shaking, and she would have fallen to her knees had Peko not held on to her.

"Chiaki... you should look away if it's too much." Peko suggests.
