After me and james were done with chores we headed back to the house. In silence. The whole time. "Question." I said breaking the silence. He looked over at me. "Why do you live in a barn?"I said keeping my eyes on the ground."because noneya" he said with a smile,"noneya?" I was so lost. " yah you none ya business" he laughed as a punched him softly in the shoulder. "Question." James said his eyes serious. "Why did you call Mrs.Beth without knowing who she is? Stranger danger!" He yelled like a weirdo. Making me laugh. "Well an idiot once told me it is none of you business." I said with one of those sarcastic smeug looks on my face. He laughed,"I wonder who that was."he said as I followed him up the front porch steps. When we got inside I was cooling off finally. James sat across from me at the small table in the kitchen. We ate some type of mint green ice cream. Then the one person I will always regret meeting walked in that door.
