Angry grumbles wake me. I sit up to find myself in the back of James's red pick up truck. "Look who's up. So how was your nap?" James said chuckling. Ow! My head! I thought touching the wound on my head. "It was great." I said sarcastically. I climb over the seats to get to the passengers seat. "Umm...don't look into a mirror." He said, his smile turning into a frown. Turning to the review mirror I see my hair sticking out in every direction. I pat my hair down, looking at James who was laughing now.

The drive was long but I sang to "Payphone" and "Skater boy." Then James turned off the music. "What?" He said when I gave him the evil eye. "I was lessening to that." I replyed. "Oh well, we're here." He said, looking strait ahead. So I did too.

I saw cute little farm. There was a white and red barn. It had a chicken coop, that was a orange almost red. There was a blueish-greenish small house too, a lady that was gray haired. She had a plain blue dress, with a white apron on. She smiled seeing us pull up to the house."hey" I heard James say, tapping on my shoulder. I turned my head so I could see him. He looked concerned. "Don't be nervous, she's nice." He said smiling. Then getting out of the car I heard him yell,"hi Mrs.Beth!" She smiled and waved obviously eager to meet the mysterious girl. I open the big door and get out of the truck. I walk towards were James was. He handed me my bag,"you got this?" He asked I smile,"yeah." Grabbing my bag from him I walk up the steps to were the lady was. "Hi" I said. Wow why am I acting so shy? "Hello dear." She said with a soft smile. "James," she says."Show Krissy her room please." He nodded in return.
