Jamie, my dad, Sylah and I are on the way to look at the salon. I am sooo excited, yesterday I was putting together all my things for my office and my styles and pricing. I just need to find workers too.
"Okay so Aaliyahs nail salon is right next door" I nodded, Aaliyah shop isn't opened yet but she has been hiring nail techs.
"Im so excited" I kissed all over Sylah and then we got out the car. Jamie went in her purse and grabbed keys to open the door. I opened the door and instantly got excited.
"This is absolutely amazing"

Lobby, up the stairs is her office, staff break room and bathroom

This is the hair stations and behind the curtains are the wash and dry rooms. I hugged Jamie and thanked her and my dad for everything. Jamie and I went to my office to decorate while my dad went to the car to get more boxes.
"Girl this salon looks amazing"
"AALIYAHHHH" I ran up to her and hugged her, I started kissing all over her face.
"I missed you too bestie" I looked down at her ring and gasped.
"I know that's right" I started smiling and grabbed her hand. Jamie walked over and looked at the ring. The five of us decorated my office and break room and talked about Aaliyahs vacation until it was time to go eat. Jamie and my dad went home so Aaliyah, Sylah and I went to this restaurant.
"Girl what you wearing to the awards show" I looked at her confused and she raised an eyebrow.
"Have you talked to Travis"
"Not today. I've been out with Jamie and dad all day, why"
"Pat said him and Travis was invited to the Soul Train awards and Pat invited me"
"When did you find out" Aaliyah sighed and looked up from her menu.
"Don't stress about it girl, he'll invite you" I sighed and nodded. We kept talking about stuff, ate then we went our separate ways.
Aaliyah POV I got inside and my phone started ringing, I answered without looking at the caller I.D.
"Hello"
"Aaliyah, what did you say to Karin"
"Pat what are you talking about" I got a notification and it was a link to the shaderoom.
"One of our Roomies told us that #Traviskelce and #Karinjinsui are over after she found out he didn't invite her to accompany him at the soul train awards"
"Oh my god, I asked her what she was wearing and then she said he didn't say anything to her"
"Travis is pissed" I got another notification saying Karin is live.
"Karin is live" I opened my tablet and went on her live and flipped the camera so Pat can see. I seen pat bring Travis into the frame.
"Heyy guys, I just want to clear some things up before people get real carried away. Travis and I are still together, so no we are not broken up. No one else can have me and no one can have him. I was not informed by Travis that he was invited to the Soul Train award and I am not mad at him. I am a grown ass woman, I am not about to break up with someone because they didn't invite me somewhere, So thank you to which ever roomie wanted to go and mind other people conversation instead of eating your dinner" she turned off the live and I flipped the camera back around.
"She's pissed" they both looked at me confused.
"Travis she just lied to the world, you didn't tell her nor did you invite her, you know she's pissed but she won't break up with you over it" Pat handed Travis the phone.
"How do I fix this"
"Ohhh boy you better go all out, the best fucking dress, the best hair, the best invite" He nodded and we hung up.
Karin POV The next day
Travis called me last night saying he was sorry for not saying anything before he called pat. He found out two days ago, we didn't talk yesterday and the day before that we were talking about other things. He said he felt like he didn't have to invite me, he just assumed I would go when he came down for thanksgiving and told me. I'm not making a big deal over it because I rather stay home with my baby, I kinda got used to that. For Sylah's birthday I wanted to buy her a puppy but I couldn't find a good one at the but now I found one we will go get it today. I put Sy in her car seat and went to the address the lady sent me. We got there and it was soo many cute dogs and puppies there, Sy picked out this light yellow Labrador Retriever. We put her in the car and we drove to pet smart. I put her in her doggy bag I bought months ago and grabbed a cart that was near the car. I put her and Sy in the cart and we went inside pet smart. They had this pink dog collar that I could have customized. I gave it to a worker and they put Bella on it in faux-Diamonds. I got the matching leash and harness. I got a few outfits and accessories and then I grabbed toys, food, treats and poop bags and pads. When we left we went home, I'm thinking about having some build the dog room under the stairs like I seen on TikTok.
"Hello"
"Wassup baby" I let Bella pee in the yard then I brought her in the house.
"We have a dog, her name is Bella" I showed Travis Bella and Sylah playing on the floor.
"I can't wait to be home. I miss my family"
"We miss you too Travvy"
"Dada"
"Yes Sy this is your daddy" Sylah started saying Dada the other day. Her vocabulary is now three words; Titi, Dada, Look, but she says look like lu. One day she seen a bird outside and she said "lu lu lu" and was pointing at the glass hella hard. Sylah put the phone on the floor so I picked it up and decided to put Bella's stuff in my room until she has a room.
