it's a bit complicated

Finally , today is the day....prom....

I got ready at ash place. I arrived at noon and ash did my makeup. I prefer light makeup not the caked ones. And for once ash actually listened to me. She was looking like a queen herself. She is really good at makeup,  I gotta admit. But ofcourse me being me I didn't tell her.

Long story short , we arrived at school at 8:00pm .the party had already started . Me and ash went in together. There she found date , waiting for her. Although , she didn't say but I practically felt like a third wheel so I excused myself saying that I will be back after touching my makeup one last time. Sure it was to give them space but I had started where the hell felix was. I started looking for him , I wanted to see his date. I dont know why all of a sudden i was interested in these things but these were the only friends i have.

I didn't quite find him in the gym where the party was taking place. I headed for the hall. And there I saw felix sucking his dates face. It was disgusting ofcourse but I had other plans. My simple mind had a simple trick to play:"felix and sarah sitting in the tree KISSING". But my plan never worked . I was grabbed from behind before I could actually put my plan to action and guess who it was....ALEX my date.

"What's up?"he asked.
"Um...I dont think you casually ask that question after you freak death out of a person" was my answer.
"Well, judging from your looks you were about to pull some trick on that friend of yours."
Dumbfounded I replied" am I that easy to read ?"
"your face is mostly emotionless so when you show some it's easy to read...yep"
"What are you doing here?shouldn't you be in the gym?"
"Shouldn't you be too??"
"Okay then let's go".

Half way through the hallway I asked"alex , u had to answer a question"

"Oh that one? U have a good memory I see..I thought u would have forgotten by now" he replied looking down at me , then he continued "but I will answer while your dancing with me...so you have to wait and see what my answer is".

"Its kind of blackmailing though" I said sulking...

"Dont worry though the answer will give you chills" he said.

That had me thinking. So for a while I was quiet thinking about the answer  but we had already reached the gym . Ash saw us and came towards us with her date.

"Have you guys seen felix?"ash asked.

"Yep.."I replied.

"Where? I can't find him in the gym"ash further questioned.

"Smooching his date at the end of the hallway." I replied . That kind of shut her up.

We had drinks and after half an hour felix joined us with his date clinging onto him like leech. "Perfect" by ed Sheeran started to play. Alex offered to dance . I accepted.  To be honest I had no interest in dance I wanted to know the answer and why would it give me chills. It seemed like every one wanted to dance on this song so ....I hope you get the idea...

Midway through the song I felt like alex had crossed the limit of my personal space. I ignored this once thinking that it was unintentional. But then I felt him giving a peck on my exposed shoulder . It really gave me chills . I backed out from alex and that's when I saw his eyes which were brown initially had turned purple. My eyes were wide open. Unable to move due to shock gave alex enough to reduce the distance between us and then he whispered "you are the child which survived the accident...am I right?"
