Life is going pretty smoothly regardless my expectations. My uncle and aunt are no where to be found these days and who am I to complain?? I am happy obviously. Who wants to get beaten and worst being held responsible for something that starts a turmoil inside you . Obviously not me. I do all the chores and sleep well. Five hours of sleep are just more than enough for me. I generally have like 2 hours of sleep from the whole day.
Something has been bothering me these days , the previous day I felt like my place had been searched . Throughly searched. As if someone was searching something and didn't want me to find out . I have little in my possession so i can easily notice the change. But then , if the place was searched why didn't i wake up from the noise. I'm a light sleeper after all. Who can sleep tightly after a whole nightmare follows you. I can't. I dont know what's the problem. I think I'm overthinking things. That's all.
End session prom will be soon which means I have a day off the school. All I have to do is help ash buy a dress. Doll her up and get her to the party. Then I'll be free. Yay. Ash is always very excited about these events because unlike me she is a girly girl.
The bell rang indicating lunch time. I was by my lockers when I heard someone cough behind me as if trying to catch my attention. I turned back. As usual i was expecting to see ash or lex but it was some other boy. Paying abit of attention I remembered he was the boy from football team. The one who was staring at me. What does he has to do with me?!. I stayed quiet , waiting for him to continue. He shifted from foot to foot as if uncomfortable. After sometime , I asked"are you spit it out or what?" I know it seemed a bit rude but what can I do. This is who I am. He was pretty nervous but he started"um...you are pretty um...I just wanted to ask "he paused and then in a hurry "ijustwantedtoaskifyouwillgotopromwithme?"I didn't understand a word."pardon?"was my response. He took a deep breath and then asked "will You go to the prom with me?!" "Me?!" "Yeah" "You can find many pretty faces. Why me?!" "Cause you are interesting " "Interesting? What's makes you think that?!" "I have the answer but I wish to give it you if go to the dance with me." "Bet or bargain? What am I supposed to call it?" "Call it a token of my love" "You are getting bolder..." "So will you go with me please?" The answer from my behalf was given by ash who I didn't realise was standing behind me all this time:"oh god alex , she surely will. Its gonna be a double date. Whohoo. Or shall I call it a triple date??!!" Ash was getting excited but i didn't want to go. "Ash you know I'm not into this stuff"i responded to ash. "Please sel , just for this once...you , me and felix , all with our dates...think how cool will it be."she requested giving me those puppy eyes. "Ash I dont like skinship , you know it makes me uncomfortable. "I told her. "Oh dont worry about that , I wont make you uncomfortable. I wont be too touchy." Alex replied, excited. "And I wont be wearing flashy gowns which cover almost nothing" I said. "I dont care. I just want to go with you. Please selena. If you go out with me I'll tell you why I find d you intresting." Now that peaked my interest. "Sounds like a deal"i said.
School is over and right now I'm with ash hunting for a dress. She was inclined towards the dresses which were either too flashy or too short or too revealing. We have been searching for two hours now. This is so hectic.
Finally , we are done. Guess what I got for my self . A maroon evening gown. Its simple but elegant .

The dance is in two days. Ash said that she will do my make up so the dress will also be at her place . I had no problem with that.
But I really am worried about my uncle and aunt. I dont know where they are. I know they are cruel towards me but still they are family.
