Aizawa smirked to himself as he snuck up on his class. He needed entertainment. At first, he wasn't planning to let the kids know that he knew Midoriya, but he wanted to see how his problem child would react. Izuku was insanely powerful, and he was going to use that to his advantage with the Quirk Apprehension Test; what better way to introduce these wannabes to the real world than to let them witness the strongest vigilante in history put on a show.

Aizawa pulled Izuku aside and explained his plan to him. He seemed apprehensive at first, but it didn't take much for him to come around; the kid couldn't resist his unhealthy need to terrify people for long. They both knew Nezu would be watching, so it had to be perfect.

The Quirk Apprehension Test usually consisted of A 50-Meter Dash, Grip Strength, then Standing Long Jump, Repeated Side Steps, and finally, the ball throw. But Aizawa had mixed things up a bit this year. He wanted to gauge the student's abilities, but he also needed to scare them a bit. What type of teacher would he be if he let them finish their high school careers without a touch of trauma?

Aizawa waited on the field for the students. They were slow; they weren't taking this seriously enough. He would fix that.

He looked around at the nervous and confused faces in front of him, "If you are going to be heroes, you do not have time for leisurely events such as the entrance ceremony. I have three years to make sure you don't go out into the world and die. I will use every second of that time to beat you into shape." He looked to the back of the crowd of students. Midoriya and Bakugo stood away from the rest of their class. He met Midoriya's cold glare, "Midoriya, you finished top of the practical exam, correct?" The kid's all turned to look at his problem child, "In junior high, what was your highest score for the softball throw?"

"84 meters." his cold tone sent shivers down the student's spines. They looked at him in shock.

Aizawa threw Midoriya a ball, "Now, try doing it with your quirk."

Izuku walked through the crowd of students. He could feel their eyes burning into him as he stepped into the circle painted on the ground.

"You can do whatever you like, as long as you don't step outside the circle. Don't hold back."

One for All was his best bet for this test, he could use 5% of All Might's power comfortably, and 15% was the point before his bones would break. He would prefer to use 5, but he didn't want to hold back and end up pissing Aizawa off on his first day.

He sighed and rolled his shoulders, feeling the familiar burn of All Might's power coursing through him. Red lightning darted across his skin as he drew his arm back; he threw the ball with such force that the hardened ground beneath him cracked, and after a second, the bang ran through the air.

Aizawa waited for his ears to stop ringing before calling out his score, "1452.9 meters. Well done, step back into line." He showed the screen to the students. The pink-skinned girl pipped up, "Over a thousand meters! No way!" she clapped her hands together, "This is going to be fun!"

Izuku could feel the sudden change in Aizawa's mood, "this is going to be fun, huh?"

He knew that tone; this wouldn't be good.

"You have three years to become a hero. Will you have an attitude like that the entire time? Seeing as this is no more than a game to you, the person who places last in the tests; will be judged to have no potential; and will be expelled." Izuku almost laughed as he watched his peer's faces go from excited to abject horror.

"Alright, demonstrations are over. Time for the real thing. We'll start with the 50-Meter Dash."

They went in pairs, first was the annoying-dude with glasses and engine legs against the frog girl. Of course, the engine legs won.

Then came the girl he saved in the exam and a blond boy with a tail. It was close, but tail-boy won.

Next was the pink alien girl against the blond kid obsessed with sparkling. Izuku watched them closely, none of the others had thought to bring support items, but the french boy had. He used the belt to control his stomach laser, but he needed to work on it more; it didn't take long before he fell on his ass, the pink girl won.

Izuku watched all of the races, carefully filling away any useful information. It felt like ages before he and Katsuki were up.

They both held sadistic smirks, barely containing their laughter as they muttered threats to each other. The students around them looked worried, but that was just their dynamic. They would have to get used to it eventually.

They stood on the line and smirked at each other, Katsuki powering up his explosions in his hands and Izuku stretching his arms with his smirk still firmly in place. Aizawa counted down to go, and Bakugo was off, his explosions kicking up a puff of smoke. Katsuki crossed the line in 4.13 seconds and nearly tripped over Izuku, who was sprawled out on the floor laughing.

"0.3 seconds," Aizawa called out. "Stop laughing Midoriya, get your ass up; we are doing the grip strength next."

Izuku won the 50-meter dash Shadow Link allowing him to teleport next to Aizawa at the finish line. He came 3rd in the grip strength test, his Quirks weren't suited for that type of task. He won the standing long jump using the same technique as the 50-Meter Dash. He came first in the repeated side steps, and second in the ball throw.

Overall, Izuku was first. Momo Yaoyorozu was second, And Katsuki was third. Izuku didn't bother to read further down the list. He had done his job, he had won, and made the rest of the students cautious of him.

Nezu would be proud.
