"Y/N, please think about this." Peter pleaded as I paced back in forth in my bedroom, waiting for Cady and Julie to arrive.

"I did, Peter. I don't want you to go home either, I really don't, you know that, but I don't think we have a choice anymore. I think you have to." I tried not to cry as I continued to walk. Peter stood in front of me and grabbed my shoulders, stopping me in my place.

"Slow down." He said, looking me in the eyes. "I want to stay here. I miss May, and Tony, and everyone else, but I want to stay a little longer. With you."

"I want you to stay, too," I whispered. "We haven't had enough time."

"Any amount of time would be too little, Y/N, you know that." He said, and I knew he was right. I sighed as Cady and Julie made their way into my bedroom, shutting the door behind them.

"Okay, I think we have to work now. We only get one shot, though, so we have to be careful." Cady advised. Peter nodded.

"I'm going to put on my suit, so..." He trailed off, and Cady, Julie and I all nodded, leaving the room to wait in the bathroom.

I sighed, sliding down to sit on the tile, putting my head in my hands.

"You okay, Y/N?" Cady asked.

"No," I responded. "No, I'm not okay." Julie frowned and came to sit beside me. She put an arm around me and leaned her head on my shoulder.

"I'm sorry," She whispered, and I nodded, not saying another word. Cady's phone chirped and she pulled it out.

"Peter's given us the all clear. We can go back in the room now." Cady announced, and Julie and I stood up. Peter was in his suit, the mask in his hand.

"You know what to do, right Peter?" Cady asked, and Peter nodded.

"I think so." Peter replied.

"I'm really gonna miss you, Peter," Julie said, and Peter smiled, giving her a hug.

"I'm going to miss you guys, too." He answered. Cady handed him the device before giving him a hug as well. "Do you mind if I just have a minute alone with Y/N, please?" Cady and Julie nodded before leaving the room.

I took a deep breath, trying not to cry. I had finally gotten a boyfriend and my life was finally good and it was all about to be taken from me. I would never see Peter again. He smiled softly, moving closer to me. I sniffled, taking another deep breath.

"Hey." He said, taking my hand in his. "This isn't the end, you know. I mean, you're the lucky one. You get to see my face in all the movies, and your posters, and it will be like I never left."

"But it will," I whispered, because if I was any louder, I knew I would cry. "It will be. I don't know how to live without you anymore." Peter laughed.

"You're going to be fine. We both are." He assured me. "Who knows? Maybe one day I'll see you again." I nodded, knowing full well we were both fooling ourselves.

"I'm going to miss you, Peter."

"I'm going to miss you, Y/N." Before I can say anything else, he pulls me close and kisses me, and I close my eyes, kissing back.

"I'll see you soon, okay?" He said once we had pulled away. I nodded, wiping a tear from my cheek. I guess at some point I started crying despite my efforts not to.

"Okay. Bye, Parker." I said, and he grinned, tapping some buttons on the watch that got him here.

"Bye."

And before I could do anything else, he was gone.
