This is a continuation of the sad one that I made. I thought a part 2 would be appreciated because I left you sad so now I'm gonna leave you slightly more sad. A good amount of angst, like always. I'll be having a Q/A in a couple of chapters if you'd like to ask any questions about me! Nothing too personal, I will not be giving my name or address. Have fun!

You and Eli had started dating. No one knew except b/f/n. And they never said anything to anyone. You and Eli would hang out in your rooms after school and he would rant. You enjoyed him going on about his struggles. He showed his more sensitive side with you around. It was refreshing.

You were homeschooled aswell, so you guys didn't see eachother throughout the day. The reason you were homeschooled was because, well it was because you didn't really like to converse with people and you social anxiety would skyrocket. You weren't an introvert, it was just that if someone opened their mouth they would piss you off. You slowly became scared of what people would say and that led you to panic when someone opened their mouth.

Long story short, Eli had a tournament coming up, and he wanted you to come. You were nervous and a little on edge as you sat in the stands with his family. People were giving you weird looks.

You kinda spaced out until it was Eli's round. Even then you tried your hardest to focus but it didn't seem to work. You knew he won. You saw everything. Your brain just wasn't comprehending anything that happened. You saw everything he did. But after it was over, you remembered nothing but his win.

You felt kinda bad, but he would understand, right? These things happen to you often. You didn't understand exactly what they were. You felt sudden urges to make small noises and clap your hands. Anger. Sadness. Anxiety. They all attacked at their own times. Sudden bursts of energy and happiness followed by anger and adhd.

The tournament was over. You were brought back by the announcer saying your boyfriends name as the champion. Everyone was clapping so you quickly started to as well. Eli's and your eyes met for a second. You smiled sweetly and a smile of determination graced his lips. He was proud of himself because of your approval.

Eli strives for approval from you. Your the most important person to him. If anything could ever happen to you, he didn't know what he would do.

You walk out of the stands and give your boyfriend a hug. "Nice job, I'm proud of you." You say, trying you best to sound upbeat.

"That was nothing! You should see me in the dojo on spar day!" He smiles smugly. Yep, this is Hawk you're talking to. Eli won't come out until your home and alone.

The ride home was quiet, but it was a comfortable silence. Eli held your hand as you watched out the window at the passing cars and buildings, wondering what it would be like to be anyone but yourself.

You didn't hate yourself, per say, you just disliked yourself a lot. You struggled internally, not wanting to bother anyone with your problems. You'd let smaller problems spill out when with Eli alone, but never anything too bad.

You were so caught up in your thoughts you didn't realize that the car had begun to come to a skidding halt, but it didn't stop. It began spinning as you felt the world slowly fade away as your conciseness was lost due to the forceful impact of the car hitting a tree. As you fade from reality, you can hear Eli's voice ring in your head as it slowly looses volume.

You wake in a hospital bed with a start. Your breathing is rushed as doctors surround you. You can't understand what they are saying, but you can see their lips move.

"Y/N?!? WHERE THE FUCK IS MY GIRLFRIEND? HEY YOU!" Hope seeps it's way into your chest as you hear the voice of Eli. Silent tears run down your cheeks as more and more doctors run around your bed.

You watch as Eli is held back by doctors while trying his best to get past. "E-Eli?" "She spoke! We're getting her back! Come on, girl." A female doc is running things on her computer.

Eli finally gets in due to the doctors giving up. "Sir, your girlfriend has suffered intense damage. Several bones are broken, internal bleeding, head trauma, she received the works. I'm sorry, but I don't think she will pull trough." The doctors leave the room, leaving you with Eli.

Tears are running down his face. "It all happened sm too quickly! I couldn't protect you! I don't want it to end like this! Please don't make it end like this! Please-" he puts his head in his hands and sits down beside your bed. "I love you y/n." He grabs your hand. You give all your effort into a squeeze so he could feel you were still with him.

All things shall come to an end. For even when the light does not shine is when some will flourish. Your body was numb. It was hard to breathe. Your vision was blurry. You couldn't go yet. Not like this. You can't even say good bye.

The cruel reality finally set in. Your body was shutting down. You were broken. Inside and out. More tears found their way to your face, but no sound came from your mouth.

You tried your best to look at Eli. His face was read and his eyes were puffy. You didn't realize how badly he was hurt aswell. He's got one arm in a sling and bandages litter the rest of his body. At least he would see the light of day.

You didn't know what to do. You couldn't think properly. Probably due to the brain damage. You would start to think of something, but then it would just stop. Halfway. Unfinished.

Just like the life you were living. You squeezed Eli's hand one last time before life slipped from your body, your brain and heartbeat going still forever.

----

3 months. 3 months since you passed. Eli still wasn't in school. He was depressed, scared, and most of all, mute. He no longer spoke. Knocks on doors and hand signs where how he communicated now. The only thing stopping him from ending it all was the promise you made to him. "No matter what, you have to carry on." You and him made that pact in 7th grade. Sworn with a pinky promise. To him, that was everything. It was all he lived for. And all he had left of you.

Places he would go were empty. Where you would have been felt hollow. Like a piece of him wasn't missing, it was dipped in gasoline and thrown in the fire that we call life.
